You had me at the thumbnail! Who could not like this transformation? Dark, dated and dingy to bright and airy. It’s fabulous and really shows how paint can completely change the whole look. Great job.
What a difference. You've made the camper look more like a home than a camper. The only thing I sort of didn't think that worked you covered in the latter part of your video - I didn't think the table worked 'cause it didn't seem to be very versatile for a family the size of yours. However, adding a corner bench might make all the difference. 👍😀

Rebecca Huber well at one time this look was fashionable. Things being dated aside, RV’s are usually crafted to suit a certain lifestyle. They’re meant to be hard wearing and practical. A while/pale color scheme is in no way hard wearing or practical. Sure you can spend lavishly and get something more attractive with a custom build. But often it’s still comfort and practicality being the priority. Built ins and such, not benches, tables, coffee bars, etc. that can slide and shift while driving. 🤷🏻♀️
I love that you kept everything on budget and didn’t buy expensive hardware and materials! It makes me really excited to imagine what I could do! None of this is “vintage Glam” but it is a huge improvement over the before shots. Rv retailers are slow to change the boring, dark colors that the rigs leave the floor with. Why don’t they just give us white walls so we don’t have redo everything?! Very nice makeover
Because if they did white walls it would look so plain, most people don’t have the time and energy to redo their camper/rv. Therefore the rv would have no decoration and would look very washed out.
We have a camper with the exact same outdated oak look inside. Your video has inspired me to totally make it over, although I won’t be able to any time soon. Honestly, ripping out the carpet and furniture had never occurred to me, like it would’ve been breaking the law or something 😜, but that was the right decision! Cannot believe how you transformed the space! It doesn’t even look like a camper anymore. And how could your husband NOT love what you come up with?! My little Shasta Compact is Country Grandma style! I worked around some old quilts I had and some thrifted custom made curtains that I was able to alter to fit the theme perfectly. 💕💕 I used click and lock shiplap material made from reclaimed wood that I found at Lowe’s for the ceiling and walls. Much easier for me to make the necessary small cuts on the angles.
I appreciated seeing how you applied the counter “paper”. Thanks for showing how you do things. I like cottage style, which is sorta farmhouse, some flowers, and older looking cabinets, pulls, chairs, etc.

I love the coffee bar! I have a cover container that I use with a Hot Shot for my drink station. I had no idea that people made over campers until I saw your camper 1.0. We remade a 2009 Sundance 5th wheeler using your instructions. My cabinets are beautiful. You saved us so much money as we repainted the cabinet hardware. Thanks so much.

Beautifully done. We just purchased a 40 foot 2014 Cedar Creek Cottage trailer to live in and my daughter and I are going to renovate it. I only had time to prime and paint the bedroom before we needed to move in as I knew it would be impossible to do that after. I just finished priming the whole trailer and I am excited to start adding the paint. Thank you for your videos as they are a great source of information and encouragement.

Lovely! I can relate on wanting to have that beautiful staged finish project. But, I have to say, you're going to experience what we did in our 42' Chris Craft. Chairs, accessories, tables, tv all had to be put away before we could take the boat out. (We had it in a slip in the marina) The hubs would get annoyed for two things. That I hate to get up early and all the stuff had to be stored. The early bird gets the fish, don't ya know!!! Since, it was on me to store everything, he always waited for me to do it. Ok by me, I knew that I would protect everything. Love the Glam look you have transformed. You and Liz will be the envy of all the other campers.

This is vintage, the pastel pink, gold, and mint green are all aspects from the 50s.

Looks great! To help keep things in place when we are on the road to and from home i have old pillows we keep and put them in the cabinet to help keep things in place! Works great!

Lovely! I can relate on wanting to have that beautiful staged finish project. But, I have to say, you're going to experience what we did in our 42' Chris Craft. Chairs, accessories, tables, tv all had to be put away before we could take the boat out. (We had it in a slip in the marina) The hubs would get annoyed for two things. That I hate to get up early and all the stuff had to be stored. The early bird gets the fish, don't ya know!!! Since, it was on me to store everything, he always waited for me to do it. Ok by me, I knew that I would protect everything. Love the Glam look you have transformed. You and Liz will be the envy of all the other campers.
