Feels great to have the metal here ready to go up! The ice and water shield took some work, but definitely easier once we figured out a system- probably no problem for people who do this everyday- always learning on this build! Dear sir. I noticed something wasn't right about the day you were installing the underlayment! You didn't have strong winds!!! Kinda like taking an old roof off in the dead of summer. It always rains 🌧. Great progress, you are almost there on the dry in. Be well and stay safe.
Question for you, if you are using the Zip system sheathing, why haven’t you used the Zip tape for the seams to weather seal it? If used properly it is guaranteed water proof.
Great question, Tammie! It’s definitely high up on the to do list- the roof is the priority right now. I have a full- time job, so I can only work on the house on my days off, so trying my best. Hopefully, very soon! 🙃

Very nice tiring work. We have the ring style door bell cameras and from time to time we get bugs crawling across the camera causing false alarms.
