Been watching Storror for 5 years now. They never cease to amaze me with their ability to turn literally any piece of architecture into an obstacle course.
It's very, very easy to determine something to be a hindrance. Their "ability" to do so, coupled with imagining a journey around/through/over, etc., seems less impressive, to me. I'm certainly not amazed by it! Sincerely, I mean no disrespect. Of course, I know full well what you're referring to. Nothing impressive about anti-gravity shoes.
BMX Flatlander here; We would fall too, way too steep. We'd need a long fast run up to make that. Wall rides are fun (dead straight wall) but we're only actually riding the wall for around 2 - 3 seconds max. Maybe a little longer if we can get more speed up before the wall ride.
I was casually doing my daily running routine when I stumbled upon Toby and the crew attempting this a couple of weeks ago 😁 super cool to see them in real life attempting these crazy moves
That’s Sasha Powell, put some respect on his name. His foot placement is insane and he is a good all rounder in parkour. He had a serious injury (broken leg) and gained a load of weight since but he’s always willing to attempt a challenge regardless. It also massively helps other members of the team gauge the task at hand. Subscribe to Storror on RUclips brother, you won’t regret it. Start with Roof Culture Asia if you’ve not seen it, think it’s a couple quid and well worth it. Thank me later.
This is an interesting centripetal motion problem! Need to push hard enough against the wall to stay upright, but not too hard because this will give you more inward acceleration, forcing you into the water. And then of course, you need really grippy shoes to also help you stay upright.
@@drained1177 they're moving in a circle which means there must be centripetal motion. And one component of the normal force that pushes inward also pushes upward. The faster the guys run, the larger that upward force pushes. The friction on their shoes has nothing to do with centripetal motion but both forces are important.
@@matthewrigby6089 I was also thinking about this problem after the video, my thought was that we should check how wide the grip angle can be, with grippy shoes and a clean surface, and see if it's enough to walk through it, and if not how fast you should run to make it in the friction cone
I have mad respect for all of you, but I am always amazed by Sash, he has without wanting to be rude, a heavy frame and he is able to do stuff, that a lot of fitter looking people clearly can't do. Go Sash!!!
