Asami is called The One and Only Voice for a good reason, and she also has the stage presence to match. I encourage you to delve deep into the lovebites catalogue, a mesmerising mixture of styles from slow and melodic ballads to heavy thrash with not even 1 bad song, I think you'll appreciate it and most likely learn a lot from a true virtuoso. This band will blow your mind every time you hear them 🤘🥁🎹🎸🎤🐺

Petite women who wear their femininity proudly and yet in gowns and heels turn into Metal Goddesses once they take the stage. Asami/vocals while small at 4' 10" belts out over the thunderous music behind her and shows off that R&B/Soul/Jazz background while her ballet training gives her that graceful and elegant look on stage despite being the commanding stage general. These women maybe small in height but their insane talents make them giants that produce epic hit after epic hit and many of them being masterpieces. Great reaction, Asami had to work her butt off to win over many of the metal fans with her vocals but now much Floor of Nightwish she is the LEAD VOCALIST and the band would never be the same if she wasn't there.

I love LoveBites. Whereas male dominated heavy metal is almost always dark, dreary, and depressing, these ladies are positive, upbeat, and joyful. The cocktail dresses don't hurt. It must be the cocktail dresses, lol.

Agreed. I come away from listening to the ladies metal bands feeling a lot happier. Until the last few years I've dipped in and out of metal for this reason, but in the last few years it's got easier to listen to Japanese music and they have a lot more women making heavier music...and it's true, the dresses don't hurt.

@@AaliyahCapili Funny, that you did the first two of them! That means, that you are spot on! "Holy War" is a good first view, as it showcases their musical talent. "Edge Of The World" is a slow starter with beautiful piano/vocals + guitar start, building up to an epic ending. The following two songs are must-haves, two masterpieces, followed by some brilliant songs, some of which are a bit more thrashy. Also consider those (now 4) songs from the new live album. LOVEBITES 2.0 with new bass player Fami are better than ever, full of new energy! Also waiting for the other songs of the new studio album to be played live. Yesterday, they played in Tokyo with a VOD live stream, which was epic. But it takes some time, until songs like "Soldier Stands Solitarily" appear on RUclips...
Haruna go insane on this drumms,like always.

Thanks for your reaction. The singer's name is Asami. You will probably be even more surprised if you find out that before becoming a singer, Asami was a ballerina. Asami began studying classical ballet at the age of 2. And she devoted about 16 years to ballet.

Their white stage costumes are related to the unique situation in Japan, where bands are very active and have many rivals, and every band tries to be unique in order to stand out.
LOVEBITES, too, chose a feminine white costume, saying, "We will do what we want to do even if we become a lone wolf," even though it is considered taboo to choose white in the metal scene and there was a possibility of being shunned and isolated by others. She then chose the wolf as the symbol of the band.

Since this performance the original bassist quit and they have a new bassist that is really good; they have also released videos from there first show back after hiatus (the bassist thing). Perhaps Hammer of Wraith or Judgement Day from that live performance (I'm sure your Patrons will have a good suggestion).
There are also a few Japanese all female bands that are related to Lovebites but in different ways (though the music is different). Nemophila is more Metalcore but is capable of going softer then Lovebites (they, like Lovebites, have an ex-member of Destrose in their band), perhaps Rise or Adabana or Hypnosis. East of Eden is more Rock than Metal but with a Violin (Mao helped them with the composition of the song, Mao also composes songs for Lovebites), they only have one song out right now Evolve. Lastly there is Lonesome_Blue which is a rock/metal fusion band, but they are on hiatus right now as their old guitarist left (the guitarist was also ex-Destrose; Mao (yes him again) composed many of the songs on their album), perhaps Face the Fear. Again your Patrons will make a good pick.

Sorry, but you are wrong. 🤗Miho (founder and leader of LOVEBITES, bass, backing vocals) left 1.5 years after this concert.
This concert took place in Tokyo on February 21, 2020 during the national 'Electric Pentagram Tour - 2020'.
In 2021, LOVEBITES (with Miho) played concerts as part of the national 'Ride For Vengeance Tour - 2021' (March-April 2021).
Miho announced her departure from LOVEBITES on August 17, 2021.
Asami is an amazing vocalist, composer and stage-general!

One of my favorite Lovebites songs. So much passion, beauty, and power all wrapped up in one song. In my opinion, they are the best metal band these days. Please give Dancing with the Devil (live version) a listen. Asami's background is R&B/Soul and you will hear use this style of singing in this song.

This was one of the very first songs by LOVEBITES that I watched the band almost 3 years ago. All it did was reinforce the fact that I knew I had been fortunate enough to have discovered the best band in popular music history. I realise that might seem a preposterous idea to most people, but I’m being deadly serious. “Best” doesn’t just encompass their music, it includes everything that these ladies portray, how they behave, how much they appreciate their fans and how they are the antithesis of what metal has become.

Great reaction!!!!! Asami puts a lot of emotions into (Epilogue) and it shows in her face as well, she seems about to cry during parts of it!!!!! Also, to see a bit of her Ballet moves watch (A Frozen Serenade), a quite unique Masterpiece!!!!! Thank you!!!!! A couple other bands you should check out are "BAND MAID", any song all are good, no bad songs!!!!! Another band is "NEMOPHILA", any song all are good!!!!! Another band who are out of Korea is "ROLLING QUARTZ". They just released a new song called (Fearless) which is quite good!!!!! All of these bands have unique singers especially "NEMOPHILA" !!!!! I love Lovebites. Asami's lyrics, her belting ability, the insane talent of the band as a whole, and their different styles make them my favorite metal band. This is one of the "E" songs that shows some other sides of Asami's singing. She has an R&B background. Since you liked this one, you might enjoy the other "E" songs. I suggest "Empty Daydream" ruclips.net/video/BkPxcnsRjlk/видео.html It is completely different from this song, as well as their other songs, in that it is more of a rock song in sme ways, with vocal harmonies, but also a piano intro. They can go really heavy, thrash and power metal, and itis amazing, and then they come along and do some songs like these as well.

All the bands that others have mentioned are top-notch, but for me Lovebites and Gacharic Spin share the topmost spot. It's a weird pairing, because each could not be more different from the other. But both showcase a humongous work ethic, endless creativity, prodigious technical and artistic mastery, and a positive, collaborative spirit. You already have plenty of recommendations for songs from Lovebites and other bands, but when you want to try something from Gacharic Spin, I recommend either of the two live performances of their song "I Wish I." [sic] I feel blessed to be able to choose songs from either outstanding band depending on my mood.

I have been listening to this form of metal since 1981 with Judas priest and Iron Maiden to name a few and lovebites are the epitomy of that era with their own spin! What drove me a bit crazy about this video was the song you were singing! It is a baroque piece of that I am certain but unable to pin point the composer. I have heard similar from the Jane Austen collection she liked! If you could be so kind as to tell me the pieces name!
However, if you want something similar to this lovebites song, try Frozen serenade and Swan song with the Chopin intro ( revolutionary etude). A refreshing reaction, thank you 😎🤟

I have mixed feelings regarding this song. It has five movements
* Asami and Miyako on song and piano - beautiful!
* Midori comes in on guitar, Asami dancing - epic
* Miyako has a solo - fantastic
* The whole band becomes gradually more heavy - now we are talking!
* The heaviness goes over to an uninteresting poppy mess - not at all fun!
Replace the last movement and this would be an epic journey!

Everyone, take note, this guy and a couple of others have been going around to Lovebites reactions with such "messages". I suspect it might be a new concerted effort by trolls to discourage reactors from reacting to Lovebites and perhaps other bands as well. Stay alert and be vigilant Wolfpack.
