That's a dangerous statement! Would you have said in 2021, that LOVEBITES can't become better any more? They have incredibly increased their skills during their hiatus, although they were so good until 2021 (and lost their bassist)!

Thanks for your bravery in trying out music that was outside your comfort zone. Doing that as a musician is as important as it is for a listener. One of the reasons I love Lovebites so much is the great variety in their compositions - with both different kinds of songs, and also within the individual songs. Miyako wrote this song years ago for her first band (a Drop of Joker). It was originally a Metalcore (growls) song, but she re-arranged it as a Lovebites song. If you decide that you actually *do* want some Metal in your life, there are a lot more Lovebites songs, and a lot of Japanese bands, many of them all-female for you to react to in the future.

Lots of people have a crush on Miyako. Here's a little backround ; She's 33 yrs old, is a wife and mother of 1. She's a classically trained pianist since the age of 3 & didn't pick up the guitar until she was 18. She is a masterful composer / arranger of music, writting about half the bands music. She loves Starwars & Disney, gos deep sea fishing and has 4 pets, a dog named Wampa ( named after a Starwars character ) an Owl, a baby boa & a parrot. Well, that settles it then, Miyako is now officially my favorite member of the band. I always kinda related to her, she seems to be a bit of an introvert, just like me. But what really seals the deal... she loves animals, Disney (I don't care for the new woke Disney though), and Star Wars. She could be me, if I was a beautiful, talented guitar shredding japanese woman in a metal band.

On October 5, 2023 I went to a special concert of lovebites at ZEPP Yokohama! It was about 2 hours long concert. Concert tickets are around $60. Drinks are an additional 600 JPN yen (Alcohol was also available). It was a great concert and the acoustics were loud (lol)! I love this song so much; tasteful, soulful and melodic guitar solos, and soulful Asami’s vocals, although I miss the piano intro by Miyako in this version. Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word because they deserve more recognition. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Miho (ex bassist and founder of the band) said in an interview that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako is a concert level classical pianist, trained since she was 3 years old. For you, I also recommend “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue”, “Empty daydream”, “Frozen serenade”, “Chopin Etude + Swan song” (all live, because they really shine in their live performances)
Ah, a woman crush on Miyako. Normally Midori gets all of those. Wouldn't that be nice if all those muscles came from just guitar playing? I'm afraid to look like that you'll have to pump iron for three hours four times a week and follow a very exact diet. Now try Frozen Serenade Live and catch Midori on the acoustic guitar and then shredding on the electric ax. You also get a treat of Miyako on the piano (real classical trained virtuoso). These musicians are insanely talented ( just happen to be female ) and will grow on you as you experience more of their different talents. Asami really shows off her chops and her R&B /Soul and Jazz background. Careful as the rabbit hole is very deep, and if you end up chasing Band Maid or the Warning, you will be lost in it for quite a while. Haruna is only 4' 9" on drums, and Asami is 4' 10" on vocals. They are petite women who wear their feminity proudly but are metal goddesses once they hit the stage.
From a finger strength standpoint, playing the electric guitar is much easier than playing the acoustic guitar. Midori's muscles don't come from playing guitar. :)

Yes, they are living metal goddesses! For the slow ones I recommend Frozen Serenade or Edge of the a world. Regardless of the speed Swan Song is another eye popping and only they can do performance. And metal redefinition great master piece is Judgement Day, as this is a new one I prefer studio version now.. Ah, very fun and also can see their Goofy side is Stand and Deliver. I can recommend more than 10 more, but Will shut up!

No-one of them is _acting_ to leave a good impression. Miyako seems to be reserved, distanced, but that is just her way of being focused. There were other moments in other live shows, where she smiles happily about something, or interacts with the band or the audience. Heartwarming. 😊

I think you got the best sound I have ever heard. Most reactors don't have their sound adjusted properly. TO much guitar, no bass. To much bass little to no guitar. Overly loud guitars little to no bass and drums but no cymbals. You name it. But on your channel, I can clearly hear the difference between each guitarist. Bass, drums and cymbals can clearly be heard. I will be paying more attention to your channel.

On October 5, 2023 I went to a special concert of lovebites at ZEPP Yokohama!
It was about 2 hours long concert.
Concert tickets are around $60.
Drinks are an additional 600 JPN yen (Alcohol was also available).
It was a great concert and the acoustics were loud (lol)!
I was amazed not only by the great music and performances,
but also by how beautiful everyone was!

I love this song so much; tasteful, soulful and melodic guitar solos, and soulful Asami’s vocals, although I miss the piano intro by Miyako in this version. Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word because they deserve more recognition. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Miho (ex bassist and founder of the band) said in an interview that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako is a concert level classical pianist, trained since she was 3 years old. For you, I also recommend “Edge of the world”, “Epilogue”, “Empty daydream”, “Frozen serenade”, “Chopin Etude + Swan song” (all live, because they really shine in their live performances)

Wouldn't that be nice if all those muscles came from just guitar playing? I'm afraid to look like that you'll have to pump iron for three hours four times a week and follow a very exact diet. She's a hobby bodybuilder and has won two silver medals in open tournaments in Japan.

@ingopek5485 It's all a matter of taste. Some people like more bulk, some, less. I think they are all looking great. But I totally hear you. Sometimes (in my taste) it can get a bit much.
They have so many great songs. When you’re ready to jump into something harder, you might as well dive into the deep end ‘Break the Wall’.
I will probably go first with one of their slower paced songs first, but after that - YESSSSSSS

I really think you would LOVE " Edge of the World " it's a song that starts slowly and builds and builds with a wonderful solo by Miyako and then builds some more without ever getting overpowering .

Now try Frozen Serenade Live and catch Midori on the acoustic guitar and then shredding on the electric ax. You also get a treat of Miyako on the piano (real classical trained virtuoso). These musicians are insanely talented ( just happen to be female ) and will grow on you as you experience more of their different talents. Asami really shows off her chops and her R&B /Soul and Jazz background. Careful as the rabbit hole is very deep, and if you end up chasing Band Maid or the Warning, you will be lost in it for quite a while. Haruna is only 4' 9" on drums, and Asami is 4' 10" on vocals. They are petite women who wear their feminity proudly but are metal goddesses once they hit the stage.

From a finger strength standpoint, playing the electric guitar is much easier than playing the acoustic guitar. Midori's muscles don't come from playing guitar. :)

Yes, they are living metal goddesses! For the slow ones I recommend Frozen Serenade or Edge of the a world. Regardless of the speed Swan Song is another eye popping and only they can do performance. And metal redefinition great master piece is Judgement Day, as this is a new one I prefer studio version now.. Ah, very fun and also can see their Goofy side is Stand and Deliver. I can recommend more than 10 more, but Will shut up!

Blue & White Guitar...White Pants? Was more on the right? That who you're talking about? She's the one I noticed...not a lot of facial expression. Just doing her thing...all business. She was my favorite. Something about the "all business" I respect but I think mainly, it's just different than much of what you see from musicians. Different is good. Sorry, I tried finding photos/names but given some changes in the band and not knowing when this was recorded, gave up.
I won't go into a lot of commentary...last time I did (respectfully) RUclips warned me against Spam/Fraud so I think I may have offended a fan. Lyrically...not my cup of tea. Musically, really liked it. I'll likely stick with my normal Straight up Black Coffee and do Tea once in a while when I'm in the mood.

They’re new stuff since the change of Bass player is even more kick ass! Asami’s singing is also much better, she’s gone to another level! Both guitarists are amazing, it goes without saying but I’m more favouring Midori’s shredding now she’s just so hot and 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

What I like so much about these ladies, is, that they are _themselves_ , just as they are. No-one of them is _acting_ to leave a good impression. Miyako seems to be reserved, distanced, but that is just her way of being focused. There were other moments in other live shows, where she smiles happily about something, or interacts with the band or the audience. Heartwarming. 😊

I think you got the best sound I have ever heard. Most reactors don't have their sound adjusted properly. TO much guitar, no bass. To much bass little to no guitar. Overly loud guitars little to no bass and drums but no cymbals. You name it. But on your channel, I can clearly hear the difference between each guitarist. Bass, drums and cymbals can clearly be heard. I will be paying more attention to your channel.
Oh I'm so glad to hear that! I'm not an audio engineer, but whenever I record a video, I try to lower the audio of it a bit so it doesn't sound too distorted.
