Great reaction Cami !! Asami, the vocalist, puts everything into every song. She said in an interview that she always sings as if it’s the last time she ever will. Before joining Lovebites in 2016, becoming a metal-singer, she was previously an RnB and Jazz singer (she has had vocal coaching), and she is also a trained (for a decade or so) ballet dancer, hence her fluid arm movements etc. (Please react to “A Frozen Serenade 2021 LIVE in Tokyo with lyrics” to see her in ballet-action). Asami is just 5'0" tall, but her presence on stage is absolutely noticeable: during the live shows she commands the crowd, even without saying a word (during the singing breaks). Pero honestamente, a pesar de que todos los reactores dicen que Lovebites son “una de las mejores bandas” en el fondo, aquellos que conocen la música, aprecian la música y tienen un oído para la perfección saben que Lovebites es LA mejor banda. Tendrías que haberlas seguido tan intensamente como la gente como yo (y hay muchos de ellos) para apreciar realmente las increíbles cualidades, en todos los aspectos de la vida, que tienen estas mujeres que las ponen en la cima del árbol. Yo mismo no tengo un canal de reacción, pero estoy siendo honesto cuando te digo que se habría cerrado el día después de que reaccioné a Lovebites por primera vez. Son los mejores. Bienvenida al alucinante mundo de Lovebites, aunque sé que esta es tu segunda “reacción” a esta banda. Yo las descubrí hace como tres años y medio y todavía sigo en shock. Hay quienes comentan que ellas son ángeles que vinieron al planeta Tierra para salvar al Heavy metal. Hay quienes dicen que esta banda es un milagro. Ciertamente el nivel de estas chicas es un tanto incomprensible. Los “reactors” que tienen conocimientos de música son quienes más aprecian y reconocen su talento. Varías de sus rolas (como Edge of the world) tienen un mensaje positivo, emocional y motivacional. Otro ejemplo de esto es la “rola” (como decimos en México) “Glory to the world”, donde una parte de la letra dice “learning to love yourself, it is the greatest love of all”. Como verdaderos músicos, ellas son muy versátiles. A mí me gusta mucho cuando Miyako toca el piano; ella tomó clases de piano desde los 3 años. Al dúo de guitarras de Midori y Miyako le llaman "M&M". Si quieres algo pesado, entonces te recomiendo "Set the world on fire", "The hammer of Wrath" (2023), "Break the wall", "Winds of Transylvania", "Above the Black Sea", "Shadowmaker", "Under the red sky", "When destinies align", "Judgement day" (Todas en vivo). La rola "Raise some hell" es muy alegre (en vivo). Si quieres algo más tranquilo, entonces recomiendo "Empty daydream", "Epilogue", "Frozen serenade", "Liar", "Chopin etude + Swan song", "Dancing with the devil", "Spellbound" (todas en vivo). Efectivamente, Lovebites es una banda única en su tipo. Live they're at their best but beware: don't do a reaction on the Bloodstock live version because the audio was horrible on the stage, for the rest; all live concerts are great. Best next songs to start with are Swan Song (with Chopin intro) and Frozen Melody. If you're curious to their musicvideos, I recommend Shadowmaker, When Destinies Align, Glory to the World and Judgement day. Veo que has hecho Nameless Warrior que es Power Metal, ésto es más bien una balada progresiva. Éstas chicas hacen muy bien también el Thrash Metal, si quieres explorar eso échale un vistazo a _Hammer of Wrath_ o _Break the Wall,_ ambas excelentes. Para otra balada parecida a _Edge of the World_ yo iría con _Epilogue_ o _A Frozen Sereande._ Y si quieres más Power Metal, seguramente _Holy War,_ _Glory to the World_ y _Judgement Day_ son las tres canciones más populares que tienen.
Excellent reaction. An interesting look at the artistry of this group in what I would consider contemporary "chamber" music is a two year old recording you would find under the title Live Studio Session 2020. It is a very personal and intimate atmosphere which I didn't want to end.

Bienvenida al alucinante mundo de Lovebites, aunque sé que esta es tu segunda “reacción” a esta banda. Yo las descubrí hace como tres años y medio y todavía sigo en shock. Hay quienes comentan que ellas son ángeles que vinieron al planeta Tierra para salvar al Heavy metal. Hay quienes dicen que esta banda es un milagro. Ciertamente el nivel de estas chicas es un tanto incomprensible. Los “reactors” que tienen conocimientos de música son quienes más aprecian y reconocen su talento. Varías de sus rolas (como Edge of the world) tienen un mensaje positivo, emocional y motivacional. Otro ejemplo de esto es la “rola” (como decimos en México) “Glory to the world”, donde una parte de la letra dice “learning to love yourself, it is the greatest love of all”. Como verdaderos músicos, ellas son muy versátiles. A mí me gusta mucho cuando Miyako toca el piano; ella tomó clases de piano desde los 3 años. Al dúo de guitarras de Midori y Miyako le llaman "M&M". Si quieres algo pesado, entonces te recomiendo "Set the world on fire", "The hammer of Wrath" (2023), "Break the wall", "Winds of Transylvania", "Above the Black Sea", "Shadowmaker", "Under the red sky", "When destinies align", "Judgement day" (Todas en vivo). La rola "Raise some hell" es muy alegre (en vivo). Si quieres algo más tranquilo, entonces recomiendo "Empty daydream", "Epilogue", "Frozen serenade", "Liar", "Chopin etude + Swan song", "Dancing with the devil", "Spellbound" (todas en vivo). Efectivamente, Lovebites es una banda única en su tipo. Actualmente Japón es el país con mayor número de bandas femeninas, y varias de ellas son excelentes; como por ejemplo "Band-Maid", "Nemophila", "Bridear", "Fate gear", "Gacharic Spin", "Show-Ya", y bandas mixtas como "Asterism", "D_Drive", "Unlucky Morpheus".
Por cierto, también aprecio mucho tus reacciones a mis compatriotas de The Warning.

Live they're at their best but beware: don't do a reaction on the Bloodstock live version because the audio was horrible on the stage, for the rest; all live concerts are great. Best next songs to start with are Swan Song (with Chopin intro) and Frozen Melody. If you're curious to their musicvideos, I recommend Shadowmaker, When Destinies Align, Glory to the World and Judgement day. They also have nice live studio sessions called Live from Abyss, also great in a relaxed setting with casual clothes. Enjoy the ride, about 60 more songs to go! 👍👍
Veo que has hecho Nameless Warrior que es Power Metal, ésto es más bien una balada progresiva. Éstas chicas hacen muy bien también el Thrash Metal, si quieres explorar eso échale un vistazo a _Hammer of Wrath_ o _Break the Wall,_ ambas excelentes. Para otra balada parecida a _Edge of the World_ yo iría con _Epilogue_ o _A Frozen Sereande._ Y si quieres más Power Metal, seguramente _Holy War,_ _Glory to the World_ y _Judgement Day_ son las tres canciones más populares que tienen.

Excellent reaction. An interesting look at the artistry of this group in what I would consider contemporary "chamber" music is a two year old recording you would find under the title Live Studio Session 2020. It is a very personal and intimate atmosphere which I didn't want to end.
