You forgot the one key think that gives paintings depth… as it isn’t perspective, but Temperature. Object closer to you are warmer in hue than those far away Perspective matters. but in Painting, temperature can really push depth and sell your art
Its so cool how you pre sketch the perspective in order to "get the whole picture" (bad pun intended?) 😅 Im growing my creative side through art, im generally a very logical and numerical person, which in this case to set the perspective is kind of needed and something i hadn't really thought about. While im "creatively drawing", sometimes it just feels like im constrained in what essentially is like a logic box... This just showed me that i do have the tools, i just wasn't using them properly or didn't think it could be used in such way.
You made the trees along the horizon, blurry and lighter, and this adds atmospheric perspective as well
