    It’s a straight up lie. I just finished nail school: polygel is still gel, and all forms of gel are softer than acrylic. You literally need different grits of file or efile for gel vs acrylic because ACRYLIC IS HARDER. Plus, you shouldn’t be changing out full sets every week regardless.
    Even if you do it perfectly, removal is the most dangerous and damaging part of any nail extensions. You’re most likely to mess up your nails during the removals if you aren’t careful and patient enough.

    I got a paddie nails starter kit last year for my birthday. I have never had a worse experience with my nails. The polygel never fully cured, the light was too harsh so it was burning my nail bed while curing the nail, even though you were supposed to hold ur finger right where the button was, and when taking it off, it stuck to my skin and tore my cuticles. Please, for your nails sake, DO NOT BUY THIS. Not from this brand.

      Also make sure to check the watts of your UV Lamp sometimes the nails pop off because they didn't cure enough. I recommend a lamp at least 36 watts or higher

    • @EllaElllaElla
      @EllaElllaElla 5 месяцев назад +1

      Try BlueSky base coat. I’ve never had a problem with it.
      If you knock your nails, you might experience cracks and lifts. If your nails aren’t fully dry before applying products you’ll experience lifting and green and black spots which can damage your nails if not properly and carefully removed. Also, you can change your method such as try to avoid using slip solution or isopropyl alcohol to the underside of the gel that gets applied to the nail. Apply the polygel directly to the nail using a brush to apply it. Cure the gel then apply another layer the same way. Apply the empty dual form over it and use a clip, then pull the gel away from the natural free edge/along the dual form. Cure.

    • @jellyjell17
      @jellyjell17 5 месяцев назад

      Try rhinestone gel glue and cure it. The nail should last for 2-3 weeks. And try not to make them too long. This makes my nails stay and not pop off. You need a really good glue. I also do the nail prep too but nail prep by itself wasn’t enough.

    No body gonna mention how much of a straight up lie their application process is 😂 you can’t just squeeze that shit on your real nails like that and put the nail form on top and the poly gel magically takes to the nail form 😂 it’s so much more complicated than that, I hated poly gel it was so frustrating no matter how many tutorials I watched. I gave up a while ago and switched to gel-X it’s so much easier and WAAAY healthier for natural nails.

    • @Rollergirl88
      @Rollergirl88 5 месяцев назад +1

      You actually can, but it definitely takes practice. Once you perfect the perfect amount of polygel, you’re good to go. And even if you put too much on, just clean up around the edges BEFORE curing. If you put too little, you can always add more afterwards to build up the nail. I used to put the polygel inside the dual forms, mold and shape it, THEN place it on my nail. But even that was a PIA. THIS way I find to be much easier and less time consuming. And as with ALL nail applications, PREP is one of the most important steps!! Nothing will ever last and/or not break if you have not prepped CORRECTLY.

    “Chemical free”
    Girlie figured out how to make stuff out of nothing, apparently, considering LITERALLY EVERYTHING Is made of chemicals

    Polygel is so much more messier and even if you do it right acrylic still looks better.

    I don't have a strong led so it takes soooo long to dry gel. It probably wouldn't dry polygel😢

      @@user-ou3uz2wt7cit’s not “chemical free”
      Literally everything is a chemical. Water is a chemical. They just say “chemical free” to sound better even though it’s still plastic gel. Plastic is a chemical.

    1) acrylic is stronger than all forms of gel.
    2) water is a freaking chemical; therefore, literally no product is "chemical free"
