Would you guys like to see a video on how to remove PolyGel Nails as well? Let us know! 💅🏻💕
Yes plss
Yes pls
that would be really appreciated !!
Yes! Thanks
I was just going to ask for this! Yes please! Also, what is impact like on the nails? Comparable to regular gel, acrylics, dip powder? Etc? Please do a quick explanation if you can for the next one :)
Thank you for not taking 22 minutes to explain this. I really appreciate it!
YEESSS
U can say that again 😂
For anyone wondering.. the “special liquid” is rubbing alchohol
I've also heard it call slip solution
Chill she’s just saying if you got the kit
Thank u ❤️
Thanks so much
It’s a slip solution and it’s way greasier than alcohol
Just use alcohol... you don't need a "special liquid"
have you tried it before? if so did it work?
@@sierrasiler i just got a polygel kit and used 91% rubbing alcohol and it worked, super cheap too!
@FlufftonTail monomer is generally used with acrylics because it needs to mix with the acrylic powder. Polygel/hybrid gel does not require a monomer to cure, but it uses rubbing alcohol as a "slip" solution
I use isopropyl alcohol for mine
So rubbing alcohol... Cool
I’m a beginning nail tech and I was trying to figure out why my gel wasn’t touching side to side until you mentioned using a tip that was slightly bigger then your actual nail.. makes sense! And I found that it was way easier when using the clips. The nail come out way better lol clips are lifeee!

@@victoriasmith4208 Ithink she said she put a top coat on after the sticker and cured it.
Why did I have air bubbles under my nail form?
@@Lietotajvards9 press on it lil harder
“Special liquid”... Y’all it’s just rubbing alcohol, 70% or higher.
I didn't know it 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Whoa I'm totally doing this
So how did it work for you
Nakita Raulerson I did it and they make it seem easier than it is . Might be my lack of experience but they don’t show everything that can or goes wrong during the process .
I did it and it went so long at first but then the next day my nails started popping of and I was so sad as it took a long time for me to do it
U have to be at least 13 to do it
@@markvoydik372 Tf says who
You can also use isopropyl alcohol to smooth out the polygel
I trying that but it still leaves bubbles n after break out
Whoever invented this!! Give them an award!
You make it look so easy. I use this and it takes me 2hrs to have decent looking nails... and even with all that time, some nails end up being thicker than others... Not to mention that you need to be careful with the liquid, because if the brush is too wet, the gel is not gonna work properly. 🤦🏽♀️
thicker nails is actually better. The nails that she did actually looked TOO thin. You need that strength so that the tip just doesn't break off. A little bit of a thicker nail is better for structure and strength
I started off with clear tips instead of just going for dual forms straight up
It's better to have thicker nails as long as you build a good apex and you don't make it too thick around the cuticle
Jennifer Garay-Santiago Agreed . There’s so many things that can or do go wrong during the process and I wish they’d show that too . Specially for a beginner like me .
Also don't flood the sidewalls with the polygel, in fact stay away from skin. Build on the apex and you will have a stronger nail.
You need to work on your technique and use a consistent amount.
My mum did me these polygel nails.
It took 2h but it was quite nice
Lea did they last or did they just stay for a day
@@erandichavez5792 they usually last up to a month if you do fills
Lyric Naomi oh Oky thx

@@lxric2651 what do you mean: if you do fills? Maybe i don t know the expression, if you can help, please explain.
Thanks! Catherine
Y’all the “special liquid” is just 70% rubbing alcohol
Thank u
Can you use acetone?
take a shot every time she says poly gel.
damn now im drunk
i think after 17 shots you’d be blackout drunk or dead from alcohol poisoning 😂💀

I just bought a set and can’t wait to try them!
This was the easiest tutorial I've ever come across. Thank you! 🖤
The fastest informative tutorial EVER.
Thanks 4 sharing😁😁😁
GREAT VIDEO👍👍👍
I absolutely love using this product. I just hope to get faster as it took so long to do a set but I am a bit of a perfectionist too 💁🏻♀️😬
I've never tried this before but it looks so pretty and flawless 😍
I have tried many times but the edge is not so strong, it breaks. Any advice?
I just started doing acrylics. Havent tryed polygel yet but it looks awsome .i cant wait to try it
Woop! Another great vid!! ❤️
Woohoo I have Polygel nails on right now and I’m loving it
So cool! Thank you for your tutorials 💕
I just did my first set and it came out pretty good. I love how you get enough time to play with the gel to make it perfect before curing. Hopeful they last long. I want to try French next
How many days does it last?
@@jennifercruz907 this set from 2 weeks ago is still on and going strong!
where did you buy yours :D ?
Did a refill with French! I’m loving this polygel lol never going back
@@uuu09 nice!
Thank you so much! I got a kit and used forms that fit the nail completely and they all popped off. Will try this with slightly bigger forms
Make sure your nails are properly prepped before applying. There are natural oils on your nails. Be sure to properly dehydrate the nail before application of the polygel
All your videos are so helpful and cool! Not a single video I hate ❤️
"egoísta" the brand of the gel, in Spanish means selfish haha
Also in Italian :D

Also in Hungarian😁

Omg thank you I haven’t got my polygel kit yet but this helped me understand how to make polygel nails
Those are really cute and so easy. Love how they look.
I actually just ordered my polygel set and I found this super helpful to prepare for when it arrives 😊
Me too!
Please where did you order
This is the most beautiful nails Ever this nails are like a princess 😍❤️
This is such a nice tutorial, thank you!
Also a tip for anyone seeing this, don't touch the gel to your skin :) It can easily develop into an irreversible allergic reaction if you aren't careful.
oh my god.
I always accidentally touch the gel, nothing happened. maybe it depends on the skin
This has never happened to me in 6 years but good to know just in case
@@sandrarilee6741 that allergy can get developed over time, if it happened there is no cure but to stop applying gel polish.
Do you know the allergen in the poly gel?
You made me buy a full kit of poly gel nails . 💕💖💕💖💕💖
Did you manage to use it?
I ordered my polygel set n wanted info on how to use it. Thank you this was simple.
I really like the way you are showing us how to do staff
If there’s no primer and you don’t prep the natural nail what keeps it from not popping off?
Yes, the natural nails are already prepped in this video. Just do a light buffing + a non-acid primer.
cutepolish - How long do they last? Same as acrylic?
omega2k1969
I think it’s kind of like acrylics, so even up to 3 weeks (not talking about fills!)
If you do this right it's 3 weeks.

I am becoming more and more curious about using polygel for sculpting nail art. Could you do some tutorials on that please? Thank you.
I just bought a polygel kit off of amazon and it should be here tomorrow!!! I can't wait!
Hi, did you need to use a UV light?
Just got my kit today!!! I’m so exited 🙏🏽💅🏽💗💗
Long lasting?
I love cutepolish🦄
Ty for this ...all these other videos are just too extra...sweet, simple and to the point!
I really wanna try it so bad 😭 it's so beautiful.
I'm willing to learn. These look so cool.
I did my poly gel nails. I made the nails one day, let it sit for the night and the next day I put them on, cured them and filed! Comes out much nicer!
Why did you wait over night? What's the difference!
@Still Love I am guessing they might mean they did the gel portion on the forms and evened them out, so the next day, they could place them and do the rest of the work! Won't dry without curing, so I guess that works!
This is literally life changing I’m going to buy some RIGHT NOW 😍 !!
Yes I've tried it ❤️it beautiful
I have not tried poly gel but it looks so cool! I wish my salon had it 💟💟💟
Wow these are the prettiest nails I've ever seen!! ❤️✨💖
Hi Cutepolish team, please tell me between Dip Power and Polygel. Which is harder, more long lasting? Thank you.
Wow this is incredible I like how u give it a lot of details tysm
Can’t wait to try poly gel nails at home eeeks 💕
Love Polygel, I've only used Gelish. I tried the dual forms but it wasn't successful. Maybe I should try again.
Try the forms they use for acrylics.
I got here the minute it was uploaded 💓 👑
Thank you so much. Super helpful. I just did mine for the first time and u love then

Great video! Now I will know how to use it, I had it at home but forgot about it
these were so simple but so cute!!!!
These are so pretty
I use the poly gel all the time and yes there is prep involved however it's not like with acrylic prep nails as usual but bonder is not necessary
Yes bonder is necessary! So the polygel lasts longer.
The special liquid is rubbing alcohol and if u dont have a clip thing you can use a binder clip or a chip clip
Or a washing peg 💃💃
Just got the kit and i didn't know what was what...this helped alot thanks so much
I like it. short and straight to the point
I did this and spent 4 hours on applying + filing + decorating, and Two of them popped off not even a day later.. I buffed them and put on a primer, not sure how to make them
Stick better
you should probably put on a base coat after that i heard it makes it stick better. best of luck-
Okay I know this comment is from like a year ago but I have some advice. If fake nails aren't sticking as well it usually means your nailbeds are oily. If you dehydrate them with acetone before you start the nails should stay much longer. 👍
@@turtle-fh9ox so dehydrating with acetone works? I don’t need to file them with a buffer?
@@Haruchan1996 you would need to do both. so file ur nail beds and then apply acetone just with a q-tip to act as a dehydrator. best of luck with ur next set of nails!
They probilly didn't cure right

Thank you
I have a complete kit
And I can do gels and some acrylic (dont like acrylic lol)

Omg I was looking up how to do gel nails two days ago and now you’re making a video on it. I trust you so I’m so happy you uploaded thanks!
Yes plz show us how to remove these after😍
You get a cotton and put on it nail polish remover and wrap in foil then let it sitt
They actually make nail forms that you don't pop off after curing them, you just file down the tip to the shape and length that you want. You can make some really cool nail art inside of the form too with different acrylic or gel colors. They're really cool!
What's the name
Where do I find this type your talking about please and what's it called? Thanks so much
What are they called? Please come back!!!
Maybe gelx? I know with gelx nails you just use a gel nail glue to put on.
They are called full cover tips.
I love using polygel. So easy to use too
It's so not for me please share your tips. Please and thank you
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Keep it up
Can you refill poly gel or do you have to do a brand new set every time? I have only done acrylic nails.
You can do fills with them! :)
I've done fill ins with it
Do you need to prep the nail with anything first? X
Yve Duck yes or it will lift
Thank you for the instructions❤
Eeeeee this helped so much! I’m not a tech but I love fake nails and this helped so much with what to do with poly gel!
Can I use dip powder with polygel nails? How would I prep the poly gel nail for the dip ?
Yes, you can, although I would not recommend, dipping powder creates an another layer on top of the poly gel nails so it will make it thicker now thicker means there will be more risks of falling if faster so to sum that up yes, if you want it for that moment and not want it to last more than 2~3 weeks, it works
Question : how do you remove the polygel nails ? 🤔🤔I just wondering .
Can’t wait to try
Thanks, l will definitely try the polygel👍🏾
You should try Gel X by Apres !!!
Here before 50 views
Wow. I'm thinking that I like Poly Gel Nails. Really pretty and clean.
THANKYOUSOMUCH I bought an Acrylic Nail Kit I don't know how to use it and now I do
I would love to try polygel, however I feel it won’t be strong enough. I don’t do heavy duty stuff nor do I recklessly forget I have fake nails on, but from the past experience of thin hard gel, I believe polygel just wouldn’t do.
Have you tried polygel and what are your thoughts on my concerns?
pinkpam it’s actually very durable. I’m rough with my hands and they stay on just as long as acrylics. Also depends on which brand you use. I filmed a vid using MODELONES poly gel if you’re interested ruclips.net/video/5eEuxC3p59I/видео.html 🙂
Where did you get those clips from?
i got mine from Amazon for a few bucks
