I have no problem doing this on a practice hand. It’s relatively easy. Doing it on my own nails is a whole different story especially when using my non dominant hand.
Practice is the key. And a little tip - if the gel starts running away from you (spreading to the sides, getting out of control) flip your hand over so it's palm up for a few seconds and let gravity help you. It will help the gel go back to the center of the nail.
We cure our Light Elegance gels in our LEDdot Gen3 Lamp (LED lamp with 400nm curing) for 1 minute. We do recommend using a curing light that has been thoroughly tested for cure thickness and doing your research to ensure full curing of your gels! No monomer It just glides it smooth enough. Like putting on a thick nail polish. Clean with alcohol/ brush cleaner/ Acetone if you have good brushes. Some brushes shed when use Acetone.
For someone like me, with very flat natural apex, most dual forms have too high of an appex and leave too much of a gap between my nail with gel and the form with gel. No matter how much gel I use for both sides, I can't get the two gels to grab each other well and so it doesn't cure well and leaves the wierdest looking nail. By the time I work with what's left and build a good nail, I could've built 2 or 3 nails with the paper forms. HTH 😊
Always apply a base (“rubber”base gel)gel underneath builder gel. Cure thin layer of base gel then apply builder gel cure and apply top coat and cure. Builder gels are too hard and need a layer of a more elastic gel between them and natural nail
@@annagracheva8714 Our builder gels do not actually require a base gel. LE's high quality formulations ensure excellent performance without the need for a "rubber base" product.

Great question! Hard gel is loved by nail pros (and clients!) for it's durable wear, ability to add strength & structure to natural nails, pros can work quickly since it is self leveling and allows flexibility to the extension (where Acrylic can be much less flexible and in some cases- too hard for some nail types). Our Lexy Line (hard builder gels) offers several different types of building gel viscosities & flexibilities so there is a product for every nail pro's working preference and client's nail type needs! It is also super easy & quick to remove with an eFile (or hand file) , however we often recommend fills to save time, money and product for regular clients! 😊 We hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions!
I just got it and it is fabulous for gel application! It’s oval and perfect shape/length to apply easily, but is also somehow pointy at end so you can really direct the gel close to sidewalls and shape well. My new FAVORITE brush 💖
It absolutely can! There are so many different types of viscosities and some are more self leveling than others! Our 1-Step and Cool Gel will be faster self leveling than our Extreme and Builder viscosities. Hope this helps!
Yes, most of our builder gels will leave an inhibition layer "aka tacky layer" after curing that needs to be cleansed before finish filing. We suggest our LEpro Cleanser as it is formulated without any unnecessary ingredients. Some cleansers can contain dyes, fragrances, oils or other ingredients that can interfere with adhesion.

Beautifully done
I never knew i had to cleanse the nail so for 3+years i bought new lamps and gels cause i thought something was wrong with them 😢😂😂

Do I need monomer on the brush to sculpt? And woth what product do I clean the brush in between and after use?
No monomer is needed when working with gel! You can always clear color out of your hard gel application brushes with clear top coat as needed
You do need a lamp with Gel to cure.. 😘
No monomer
It just glides it smooth enough. Like putting on a thick nail polish. Clean with alcohol/ brush cleaner/ Acetone if you have good brushes. Some brushes shed when use Acetone.
Did you cure after second time?
And then fill in dips ?

What do you use to clean the brush?
Dry wipe with an LEpro Cleansing Wipe!

Amazing where i can get this Gel ??????
You can shop at lightelegance.com in the US or from one of our LE Distributors! www.lightelegance.com/pages/distributors
Thank you for not overlaying this with music I hate. I can't even watch most shorts because of that.
This is way easier then trying to get the nail tip to glue on and stay😅
What do you use so the gel doesn't stick on the brush?? 😢
What is the tack bonding agent you use? I use a model ones builder gel and they always pop off immediately even if I prime and prep properly
Tack is a UV/LED cured bonding agent that acts as a double sided stick tape! It's great for extra adhesion and works for a variety of nail types!
