I happened upon a Reechet which I have never seen before. This one has the patent number on it but no company markings. Instead it is marked AC for the AC Delco company and evidently came in a special sparkplug replacement kit. Just goes to show you learn something new all the time. Scout, I used to work with an emotional vampire exactly as you describe. One of his favorite things was to always talk about killing management (obviously this was well before the present day when that kind of talk would have a SWAT team showing up to arrest him). One day I cracked and unloaded on him, and reported his rants to management. He went to the union and they advised him to deny everything, which he did, and as a result management let him slide. But he never spoke to me again, and I was mighty happy about that! Awesome job on that hammer by the way. As soon as you showed the damaged heads I thought "He's gonna make new ones from Delrin". Sure enough!

What a great rant
Can you make new heads out of a hockey Puck?
The rubber on the pucks is hard but I don't think hard enough to take treading and might come off.. If there was a way I could put an insert in the hole to hold treads then it would work! =)
Yes, we're obnoxiously proud of our state. It's a behavior we all kinda grow up with. I try not to be that way, but alas.
Beautiful job on the hammer.
Ben- Funny thing is when I was surrounded by all those Texans in boot camp I eventually started to think like a Texan! Except for the chewing tobacky! =D
Don’t Worry...Be Happy
Totally agree with you scout 👍. I know a lot of people like that at work that just want to see you down 👎.. Nothing like surrounding your self with positive minded people..
What I want to know is where did the replacement heads come from. I have a No. 15 hammer just like the one in this video that needs new heads. Anybody know were I can get some?
I like the black Delrin better than the White. Looks heaps better, and they stay cleaner longer.
Hi Steve! I wonder how many colors they make deleon in because I always see either white or black! Thanks!
@@ScoutCrafter only black and white in bar stock. but i`ve heard you can get colored sheets of Delrin.
Ok so I stuck around and what do you know
I had a great time
The hammer came out real good how about some brass faces as well for some of those tougher jobs
:0)
Melt the delrin shavings down, mark it as "oilite delrin" due to the WD-40 in it?
LOL Good idea!!
