- Join in with the crew at Turnin Rust as they initiate Operation Mighty Metro build, a 1954 International Metro van they recently sold to a client out of Ireland.
In the meantime they get a call on another 1954 International metro van, that's a little bit too close to home to walk away from.
While finding vehicles in their back yard, Wesley boards a plane to fly across the U.S.. Landing in the COLD weather state of New York, he gets to dig through the snow and find a 1960 Compact COE cab Lance had recently purchased from a gooood hot rod buddy.
While continuing the build on the slammed Metro, they track down the owner of LS Powered 1959 big back window Apache that's nothing less than patina perfect.
Follow along as they continue their quest of saving rusty relics. Giving the past a future, while serving God and building rods! Here at Turnin Rust!!

Hi Lance. I am looking for something like this. Is this one for sale and how much?
Thanks
Dustin
Turnin Rust big mike from North Carolina I think you’ve got a awesome RUclips show keep up the great job
Really refreshing to hear these guys speaking politely and no growling or expleting. Great guys, great builds. Thumbs up!
I like that you guys are real about your garage and tools and everything. You build like most guys do, in a small garage, and outside on the ground. And thank you for being open about your faith! In God we trust.
The lord is with yall boys!
Work ethic and craftsmanship aint dead!
It's really good to see a real car show rolling round on the floor with the basics and getting it done as most of us car guys have to do with none of the glamour well done really enjoy the show keep the episodes coming cheers from Australia
Love your channel guys, I'm Australian and back in the day we were messing with our muscle cars, rat rods etc, now you can't do any mods to cars, all old cars been put off the road unless you have club membership and on a club event, makes me timesick for the 70's/80's days watching your videos!
My dad bought one of the vans years ago, it was our hunting ,camping vehicle for years. Once on the way camping, the engine blew up. My dad found a replacement engine, rebuilt that one and drove it for years. He painted it blue with a big white F on the side. I loved the pnumatic wipers.
I think it's cool watching you guys I grew up in gilmer tx I now live e in Phoenix but definitely cool watching you guys in the country I'm used to.
Great video guys!!! It's nice to see Father and Son working in harmony!!! I have a motorcycle shop and do the same thing to bikes, with my son. Thanks for the great video guys, God bless you both!!!!
It's a absolute blessing to work aside my father! I'm glad you have the same opportunity with your son! Thanks for watching and supporting us!
old is gold yet again proven by Turnin Rust.
i'm in Australia and i think its great what you and your father does god bless you both may you both spend a lot of years to come doing what use do
This is better than some formerly big print magazines trying to keep up with the times! Shoutout to the cameraman and editor!
Wow!! Huge compliment, appreciate that Doc! Thanks for tuning in!
I love the message on the white hoodie!
7500 with an LS engine and A/C? WOW! Jesus was smiling down on you that day! :)
Those were definitely still around when I was a kid in the early 60's. So cool. 👍😉
Fucking found my gold nugget right here. Love it got yourselves a fan from downunder now, Australia that is. G'day mate keep them sparks flying.

It’s my second episode and I’m loving it. Good work guys.
Aloha, from Oahu, I enjoy watching you and your pop rescuing abandoned trucks/cars and giving them new life....
Wow what a great project 1 of a kind dig it really like off the wall projects like this can't wait 2 c this 1 done thumbs up 2 Ya 😀
Thank you for your testimony for the Lord Jesus. No cussing, no foolish contrived games. real car building.
That Metro is looking great!
Love the show, and i like seeing the haggling for other vehicles. God bless
I love those big back glass fleet side chevy trucks , that thing is going to be awesome ! I have a big back glass fleet side with the same colors and patina I'm working on .... great video .. thanx !
Man please get a guard for that cutting disc!!! I had 1 put a Grove in my skull ...I have a guard & face shield now lol
Oh man... Owned an M80 myself. Loved that truck. Miss it.

Thank you for giving the glory and the honor to God, God bless you keep up the good work 😊
Appreciate the kind words Godwin!
You have a fantastic cameraman and editor!
Love watching your video’s. Its the exact kinda work i did my whole life, as I have got older I’ve found myself more on the body ,painting and fabricating more so. But still love it all, Thanks for the video’s.
Awesome show.
Well I was wrong on my first statement I watch a few more show and I definitely like your choice and style for builds, was hoping for something different from all the other shows....my apologies and hope it turns into something original, and thankful to hear about your faith great testimony
Lance your video's are spot on don't change a thing . I love them a lot of great information on build' s.
Thanks Jim! Can't wait to show you more!
love your show, it is definitely cold and snowy up here. I'm looking into restoring an old truck. working on some old steel. 1957 case dc tractor i snagged for free.
Great job guys....!!!👍
I love it. It really lools jeepers keepers truck
I doubt the Liberal Networks would allow a person believing in God to have a TV show . What a great set of values you have, Sir. Thanks for sharing the build with Tubers and myself . Stay strong with your faith son .
We are new subscribers, as well, and we kind of like the music in your videos. They haven't "Offended" our sensibilities, in the least. It matches right up with your content. Which is superb high-quality. I really do appreciate the time that you guys take to share your work. It's great!
Great video's but music is to loud , every time I have to turn the sound down , and tum it back up to hear your talking at least keep it the same volume as your talking
That thing looks rad and kinda scary at the same time lol.. gettin a bit o jeepers creepers/texas chainsaw vibes from it lol
The smoke screen adds to the character of the show !!
Great show! I really liked the old-timer with the big beard!
I like the look of the old pickup truck. Awesome so sexy project
FYI - Industry standard for audio on video is -12db, narration and/or music. With respect. P.S. great channel :)
There’s all the parts ya need for the Santa van
I got confused thought this was Discovery channel...in other words you guys are awesome and your going places ,keep on truckin
awesome show. you guys are great. i have a 66 jeep fj6 postal shorty fleetvan im going to build. cant wait for the next episode
Nice work. Fantastic video quality.
Been twiddling my thumbs for weeks!
Best channel on RUclips!!
It's like a Michael Bay film where everything is in slow motion, even though things are happening.
Brilliant keep going
great to see a strong family team
I seen two amazing derby cars in the background lol one was red and the other green.
That old feller looks like a member of the ZZ Top!
loved watching this episode . . . thanks for posting
-Tom F4collector
Enjoyed the video a lot, keep producing them
Thanks Wolf!
The old guy with the Airstream trailers reminded me of Uncle Jessie from Dukes of Hazzard. 😀
Hahah! That's amazing, we didn't even think of that!
@@TurninRust the crazy thing is he's actually on a show I think on the National Geographic show called The Boonies where they claim that he's live down in caves for the last so many years of his life for whatever and that's from a couple years ago I watched that show in the last couple years and now here we are 2018 and he's a Airstream collector
Kinda even sounds like uncle jesse too !
It's a good show. You don't need the screaming music.
Thanks for the feedback!
I certainly agree with jw
That music offends my sensibilities. Your earlier vids were very enjoyable, such as your Opal GTn🙉🤬.
@@TurninRust we can always turn the volume down but then we have to dial it back when you start talking.. So it's a constant struggle up and down with the volume... Love your show.. Do you have a website that shows your collection of vehicles on your lot for sale.. I don't do social media.. Would love to find a short school bus... God Bless and take care...
No more phone call footage please. The show is killer bro👌
Great vid y'all. Wouldn't change a thing.
Thank you!!
Could’ve been a 20 minute video without all the cinematics! that’s cool back in the 2000s when you’re watching satellite TV. It’s pretty nuance, every 30 seconds back to a cut scene
Hi guys. Just start watching this and definitly i am hooked. Awesome content. Not only fabrication but also the story around the subject. The build up towards the fabrication its very amusing and entertaining, i must say. The one hour show can be, it wasn't for me, to be honest, a bit tedious. I can see a half an hour to forty minutes webisodes working better and hooking people a bit more. Not complaining !! I guess i'll be watching it religiously from now on. Cheers.
Love the episode. Great job!
Just found your channel the other day and watched all the episodes and subbed, keep up the good work, preciate the clean show and in depth work, also awesome that you guys honor the Lord with everything, keep up the awesome show, great video and editing too
Dude ive seen that DeLorean about 15 times and just now seen that it was a hot tub 😂😂😂 i drive by you guys all the time!
Awesome to hear!! Feel free to drop in and say hello next time!
Turnin Rust oh i Deffinatly will! I love lookin around at old stuff and think up ideas!
It would be nice to see more rescue and builds
Well done chaps brilliant new episode stunning work till next
Appreciate it! We are already working hard on the next one!
A well put together video. The Christian shirts juxtapose the Vodou art :)
I love how in most of his vids hes wearing 200 300 dollar jeans nice hoodies .Well i should say working in them
realy like those milktrucks , seen a few that are converted to lay low and drive in comfort , bet you can make a verry nice vehicle out of it to haul wares (branded clothing and caps and stuff )to sell at shows and use the truck as the back drop
think that delorean hottub was featured in some home makeover show a loooong time back
had one in the shop a while back , the body is made from stainless steel but the subframes are not , the engine and suspension was hanging by a tread on it the hole where so big you could stick youre hand through it , we showed the owner and he kindah turned white , he had driven the car at 120 kmh just before we got it on the lift
V6 motor and transmission are from renault (french) , its pretty guttless as its a heavy car
Awesome Job
If you get some long angle or similar, you take the wheels off, drill holes in angle for at least 2 lugs on each end wheel, bolt together each side and that will help with maintaining true wheelbase
Thanks for the Tip! We will keep this in mind!
@13:13 What a nice old gentleman 🤝
Quick tip maybe 30 min vids the 1 hour is a bit to long still really cool stuff guys
Go job guys Mary Christmas
Have you tread a classic slidbed truck they are great let me know what you think
wow guys! awesome!!!!!
Thanks Josiah!
great video good work on the trucks can't wait to see more!
Thanks Aaron! We can't wait to show you the final metro! It's gonna be a beast.
New to the channel love it subscribed . I'm sure getting sick of having to turn it down when the music comes on. I have read that you will be taking care of this.
Besides that well done, great to see fellow Christians interested in old trucks.
Looks like ya'll got all the AMCs in the county.
What was the rear axle from?
Great Videos, wish it was possible to do something like that here in the UK, may have to emigrate, PLEASE keep the vids coming....
Thanks Dave! It's a gold rush over here!
Hot Tub Time Machine was funny.
that old guy was cool :)
Just found u guys on RUclips like the way you approach your builds . Have you ever thought about airbag jacks when recovering vehicles they work very good in uneven ground and also spread the load surface just a thought guys Regards John from the UK
Great filming and editing.
Appreciate that! We put alot of time and effort into it!
Might I suggest a 50% decrease in the dramatic slow motion shots. It is an interesting feature until it is constant. Thank you for some interesting content. Your channel will grow quickly.
Appreciate the feedback! Will definitely consider this in future episodes! Thanks for tuning in!!
sbirdranch I didn’t have a problem with this until you mentioned it now I can’t stand it.
sbirdranch. That background music was terrible , can do without
Glad I just happen to read through the comments because I was about to post the same thing. For not having big production money, the show is interesting; but trying to force the feel of higher end production with the constant slow-mo, music and dramatic effects makes the show hard to watch for me. I am here for the content and the cars(which I enjoy), everything else is unnecessary!
Save all the classics you can.
We are trying!!
you could cut 15min of footage from this and this could be on tv guys, market this!
Appreciate the kind words!!
Nice bro
Best of luck
Do you still have the emergency brake handle off of that metro?
Great vids! Recently came across your channel. Hooked! God Bless!
Its easy for y'all to find project trucks but hard for me lol. I have the same dream tho😂
New subscriber excellent job and explaining what your doing. Keep up the good work and giving God the glory. Also turn down the music.
That Body would have looked kool mounted up on a transport truck chassy.
Really good videos but I would much rather hear the sounds of the shop and the tools than the music. At least, turn the music volume down a little bit.
Where in texas are y'all guys at love y'all videos wanting a metro or a 56 dodge postal delivery truck you guys are so inspirational to me
I love your shows but hope you consider sharing about 10-15 minutes less of pseudo haggling and replacing it with some more building.
Appreciate the feedback!!
