Surprising how N&W 611 is in Strasburg Pennsylvania. This is the first time seeing another unusual sight. Plus not only does #475 not have the 8-inch hooter whistle but the headlight is also on the face of the locomotive's boiler. I love the 8-inch hooter whistle sound much better as well as the headlight on the head of the locomotive's boiler - in front of the chimney.
WOW! What a sight and what a SOUND! The J #611 and M class 475 meeting at Groffs Grove! I've seen BOTH LOCOMOTIVES but not at The Same place and at the same time and the same location! This was 1 ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE VIDEO! Thank you! I'm originally from NEW JERSEY. But I now live in South Carolina. AND OF COURSE would rather be spending the weekend along the STRASBURG RAILROAD! Experiencing once in a lifetime moments like you are! Thanks for sharing!!
Its really nice to see 611 at Strasburg. A big engine is a nice addition to the little railroad! It really is a shame more of the "J's" werent saved. Easily the best looking of all the 4-8-4s IMO. A "Warbaby J" would be fantastic to see in person! As a fan of Western Railroads such as the Southern Pacific and Virginia & Truckee, I do hope 611 can come west of the Rockies one day.
EnjoyInsanity as 475 and 611 were running and I said where was Strasburg 90 and 89 then and you said it’s in the shops so that means where was Strasburg 89 and 90 and it was in the shops so that means when 89 and 90 were in the shops that means 89 and 90 are put away

I'm pretty sure I'm correct but 611 must be and proably is the largest and longest steam locomotive to operate on the Strasburg railroad
