Love your style of video and the fact that you don't try to pretend that family life is ultra clean and tidy.
"If you don't have kids this will be quicker." LOL! True, but you are letting them have fun and teaching them how to cook and eat whole food, plant-based. Way to go, momma! :D
The thing with children is that suddenly, starting from the age of 12 or so they start playing with friends, then there is the school time and then you see them very few times. They are not at home anymore and that's so strange! I see mine once a week, usually.
I remember how stressful it was when they were small but now I cherish the moments I shared with them.
Sometimes they said something really funny and I jotted it down. Now that they are adults we sometimes read what they said and laugh so hard!
I think it's also great to get children involved in many chores early because when they are teenagers they get very lazy and mothers have even more stress.

Measurements not necessary. We get it. I cook like you do, so it's totally familiar. I learn so much from you. Mostly about determination. Nothing I haven't known before, but am so addicted to eating that I forget. I forget to dilute the calorie density. I forget, because the part of me that springs back to the Pleasure Trap way of dealing with food is my head telling me it won't matter. Including starches in my plan can be to run away with the starches which is higher on that scale than the non starchies. You reminded me to have them on hand and fill up the plate and my tummy on them, 1st. Yay!

I steam broccoli in a steamer on the stovetop - average 7 mins (if you don’t like/have microwave)

Hi!! I’ve been enjoying your videos. Can you do a video to calculate calories per pound from labels on food for weight loss? Like rice noodles. What do I know is ok or not? If it’s just looking at the ingredients, what do I look for to know it’s ok to use or put it away? I would appreciate this!!
What is the difference between the stock cubes and the stock powder you use? Do you make the powder?
I'm guessing the powder is regular veg stock flavor and the cubes are vegan chicken stock flavor

Chelsea, what noodles are you using?
Two questions from a mum of 3 who struggles to lose those 4-5 last pounds:
How do you treat vegan protein? Don’t you eat much protein other than your oatmeal?
And: Do your children eat the same as you or do you feed them more calorie dense foods? Because obviously kids (at least not mine and yours) don’t need to lose weight;).
Protein is in everything virtually all vege especially greens have ample protein that's where horses, cows etc get it then people get secondhand protein when they eat meat!
Broccoli is full protein.
