Southwest Lower Michigan Squall Line June 25th, 2024

A line of severe thunderstorms moved through Southwest Lower Michigan during the early morning hours of June 25, 2024. Extensive wind damage occurred along the Lake Michigan lakeshore, particularly in Muskegon and the rest of Muskegon County. Some large hail up to quarter size was reported as well, but the main impacts came from wind damage to trees and powerlines that then resulted in power outages affecting many thousands.
