We had an ef2 almost 3 destroy half the city in Rome NY on the 16th. And the tornado percentage was only 2% !!! Never underestimate even the smallest percentage 😢

Broke out windows on the house, broke limbs over the power lines so we lost power, roof on the house and vehicles are toast, destroyed the corn and milo etc. It was absolutely horrific. Then they severe warned it about 15 minutes after it had already passed us 😑
Living in Terre Haute has been nerve-wracking since last June. We just had a damaging wind event on June 25th and it looks like we could get another blast of severe weather around the same time a day earlier in the week.

My area is in desperate need for rain. My creek is even dry. I worry about wildlife in my area getting water. I set a horse bucket of water out for the deer and large dog bowls of water for other animals. My yard is a dust bowl.
It's so important for people to set out water when there is none available to wildlife. It takes very little effort, and they so appreciate it. I wonder how many animals die during dry spells from dehydration. We don't think much about that for some reason. I've seen squirrels licking the aluminum roofing on my neighbor's house to get some condensation during dry spells. It certainly can't be good for them.
