I would like to dedicate a moment of appreciation towards the Tedx organizer wren is on the phone with at 1:34. This is a man who obviously has a lot of experience with different kinds of people, and it shows in the way he handles Wren's lack of material. Stuff like that can truly make it or break it for someone with anxiety, and this man seems to have a deep understanding of that. No wonder why Tedx talks are usually beautiful!

This particular episode felt like watching a time capsule. Anyhow, Wren, you're my star and inspiration to many, we learned so much from you and no matter if you choke or struggle with the knowledge you have, we will eagerly learn what you have to show us! All hail the Sir Wrender!
I know it's possible no one will see this comment, but I just have to say how much I appreciate this video. The vulnerability Wren shows in this video is admirable and this video actually made me tear up when I saw the perseverance of the human spirit. My heart ached for him when he was stumbling through the dress rehearsal and I was rooting for him when him and Nick were working late into the night to practice, and the joy I felt when he was punching the air really inspired me to keep doing hard things and pursue dreams. This video was so validating to me; showing the reward of struggle and the power of resilience. So proud of Wren. It would have been so easy to only post the final product and not show the painful moments, but I'm really happy you did. Love your channel and love your content Corridor Crew!
One of the best things about Corridor is the genuine friendship and care everyone has for eachother. You can tell it made a huge difference for Wren to have Nick supporting him leading up to the talk.
I read in these youtube comments they wont release it cause of copywrited material that was used in the presentation. I dont know if it is actually true...but it sounds like it
Baws4Gamez They were making a joke saying how they’re waiting for “Ted” to talk, since they’re called “Ted Talks”. But Ted is an acronym (which is what makes it a joke.). They weren’t talking about TEDx releasing Wren’s TEDx Talk
Hey, just wanted to say, recently my work life has gotten really batshit insane, and having your guys videos to watch every day during my lunch break really makes my days better. You, the dudes at node, all y'all. It's amazing. Thank you.
I suffer bad anxiety as well, but I'm also an actress and cosplayer and I give a lot of panel talks. The moments before walking on a stage are always nerve wracking but that moment when it's done....whew amazing.
I think it’s fair to say that we were all on the verge of tears Wren. We’ve seen so much of you that we all feel like we know you like we know our closest friends. So seeing you do this makes us just as proud as anyone from the studio would. You did absolutely great and we were all routing for you.
Whoa. I have never in my life felt so nervous along with someone before, that was amazing. I didnt even realize it until the tension broke right as he started the talk, but my heart was racing, my neck was tight, and I was literally tingling with nervousness more and more as it got closer. And then tears welling up after, right along with him. It's probably because his emotions were all genuine and real, but movies and other fictional media have rarely if ever made me actually physically feel something so strongly. Thank you Corridor for this, and Wren specifically, if you happen to read this random comment, congrats, and thank you for letting us see something so personal and emotional, it's incredibly motivating to watch someone struggle and succeed with something, and this is about as close as many of us can get to something so amazing. Yet.
I think I saw Wren say something about his presentation having some materials they couldn't post? Some copyrighted stuff? So instead he put it up as a video essay on the channel
Wren said, that because his presentation included a lot of copyrighted material it will probably never be released. Even though his usage of these clips would fall under "fair use" it still wasn't good enough for TEDx to release the presentation. Not sure if they'll end up releasing it after all though.
Well the plan is that they'll post it at some point soon still! But yeah there were complications regarding the rights to the visuals I used in the speech.
Andrew Roy I don’t think he’s talking about the recreation of what happened, he’s just talking about that part of the video where he shows the wounds and stuff
Whoever chose to edit the part about unseen blood, sweat, and tears over Wren giving his speech, GENIUS! Great job on the video! And great job on the speech Wren!
Wren, Thank you to you and the rest of the Corridor Crew for doing these videos, and allowing us to see behind the curtain of what goes on in film and TV. What you're doing here on this channel is reaching out to and inspiring a generation of young artists to pursue VFX and you should know what you've done so far is groundbreaking. Keep on creating, and keep being awesome!
Congrats Wren, I was tearing up with you at the end there! As a musician who's spent the best part of 20 years regularly going on stage and performing, I know the stress you must've been going through. Even now I still can get butterflies, so dude, well done for getting up there and going for it. And that feeling of ecstatic excitement, that's the adrenaline rush you get after a good performance! It's pretty much the drug that keeps performers of all types heading back to the stage. Feels good, doesn't it! Nice one fella, and good job!
This whole video was really inspiring. To see someone who is so well-versed in presenting concepts and ideas in their videos be so vulnerable and nervous, and still push through it all really gave me the motivation to do things outside my own comfort zone. It really is awesome that you guys decided to document the whole process because from the outsider's view, the people who do these talks look like they have all the confidence in the world when giving their presentations. Keep up the good work guys, and here's hoping that the other guys would have a TED Talk presentation of their own in the future.

Wren's legitimately one of the reasons I love this channel so much and why I will continue to support you guys. I love seeing the realness, and I bet everyone else here does too.
“I feel resigned to whatever’s going to happen and that’s calming” lol you might want to look into Taoism for your anxiety
Brandon Cao you cannot control what you cannot control. You cannot focus on your mission while you are mentally busy.
Wren wrendering his emotions made me cry.
Now you can make a TEDTalk about how hard is the process to prepare a TEDTalk
Lol
I'd love to see a Corridor video on how hard that would be to make.

Wren, in school finishing a statistics major right now, and I have awful testing anxiety .its really refreshing to hear someone else speaking out about how they deal with real anxiety. oh yea, and i just got a onewheel pint and love it. !!
This video gave me anxiety, I can only imagine how wren felt, I'm glad it all worked out well for him
This particular episode felt like watching a time capsule.
Anyhow, Wren, you're my star and inspiration to many, we learned so much from you and no matter if you choke or struggle with the knowledge you have, we will eagerly learn what you have to show us!
All hail the Sir Wrender!
Cut the W and it is render

Wren is the HEART of the Corridor crew.
Ye I agree
It was hard seeing our sweet boy Wren so anxious and nervous
"I ended up kind of delivering these a little late but what's new in my life" That me with any project. Good job on your talk Wren!
Im still waiting for Ted to talk.
And to find out who this Ted person is.
I read in these youtube comments they wont release it cause of copywrited material that was used in the presentation. I dont know if it is actually true...but it sounds like it
Also look in the description
Baws4Gamez They were making a joke saying how they’re waiting for “Ted” to talk, since they’re called “Ted Talks”. But Ted is an acronym (which is what makes it a joke.). They weren’t talking about TEDx releasing Wren’s TEDx Talk
I reacted to the wrong comment 🤣. I tried to answer a guy who wanted to see the real Ted talk
Hey, just wanted to say, recently my work life has gotten really batshit insane, and having your guys videos to watch every day during my lunch break really makes my days better. You, the dudes at node, all y'all. It's amazing. Thank you.
He's very good at teaching in his vids.
“My emotions are clipping their values right now” never has something sounded so ‘Wren’ before
Seeing Wren smile makes my whole day (:
Clint: *sees broken bleeding limb, grabs it*
Then bop it..
“Ladies and gentlemen, Wren from corridor digital”
Wren standing on bed, “computer generated imagery...”
"My emotions are clipping their values right now". We all all know how to say that, but this just really drives home how elated he was.
Well done Wren! and well done Nick for being a great friend.
Seeing Wren tear up in ecstasy after completing a life goal made me tear up, too. Congrats, man!
This was literally one of the most heartwarming videos I've watched this year
elevator: "Going down"
wren: *sigh*
mood: "Yup"
Yet.
Probably the best video on this channel. You feel so anxious knowing he’s anxious, and when wren finally does the talk you feel so happy for him :)
Does anyone know why Tedx never posted Wren's presentation, even though they posted all the other presentation from the same event?
I think I saw Wren say something about his presentation having some materials they couldn't post? Some copyrighted stuff? So instead he put it up as a video essay on the channel
I'm guessing worried about copyright infringement from the visuals?
Wren said, that because his presentation included a lot of copyrighted material it will probably never be released. Even though his usage of these clips would fall under "fair use" it still wasn't good enough for TEDx to release the presentation. Not sure if they'll end up releasing it after all though.
Well the plan is that they'll post it at some point soon still! But yeah there were complications regarding the rights to the visuals I used in the speech.
@@SirWrender Please let us know when they do that!
Dude, after rewatching the one wheel incident all I can say is
It’s a good thing you married a nurse
Really? You think that was actual footage of his accident?
Yaaaaa he has a cameraman following him around 24/7/365
No joke though!
Andrew Roy I don’t think he’s talking about the recreation of what happened, he’s just talking about that part of the video where he shows the wounds and stuff
WillC
Yeah I was talking about the wounds and how nasty they looked
Whoever chose to edit the part about unseen blood, sweat, and tears over Wren giving his speech, GENIUS! Great job on the video! And great job on the speech Wren!
Wren,
Thank you to you and the rest of the Corridor Crew for doing these videos, and allowing us to see behind the curtain of what goes on in film and TV.
Wren getting so happy afterwards warms my heart.
Wren: Lemme make high effort and educational videos!
The Rest of Corridor Crew: So we got new Nerf Guns and Helmets
ZheoVerticies lol their high effort videos go to the main channel
Wren, honestly, thank you so much for sharing this experience! I think this is something everyone goes through before speaking to such a huge audience and few people ever realize the struggle to get there! Thank you!
"my emotions are just like clipping their values right now"
Wren, I loved this. Thank you for sharing.
