- In this video I'm delving back in to the now 9 year old Call of Duty Advanced Warfare on Exo Zombies in 2023 and raising the question, does it hold up?

It's awesome going back to play Exos, recently replayed all 4 maps and don't regret it at all! People need to stop comparing it to Treyarch and treat it as its own entity. Genuinely a lot of fun aspects/creations/limitations that the mode introduced. I can't wait to see what 2025's CoD by Sledgehammer will be like since it'll be futuristic. They ABSOLUTELY shine with futuristic games. Great video as always!
Yeah i think once you switch off the "but Treyarch zombies" mentality, there are things that jump out that aren't anything huge, but end up being entertaining and better then you'd initially think. If you can't tell I have such mixed feelings about Exo zombies haha. Thanks for watching
@@TheExceptionalGamer Yeah! Like on the map Carrier especially they started going really outside the box. Teleport grenades, riding moving traps, force push ability that kills all Zombies around you. Pretty crazy. And no problem at all!

It was an amazing zombies mode in its own right just doesn't have the classic treyarch feel everyone came to expect in previous years, this game takes me back to a point where my family went through hell and my stepdad tried out exos with me trying to find stuff we could do together with mom bit being around and he fell in love, everything captured him in the games down to the actor casting being actors he knew from shows

I remember downloading this DLC right before I had school and I got to play it for like an hour before the bus arrived

Advance warfare was a extremely underrated I liked it a lot there was a lot of things bad about it but it was better then some of the other cod games
yeah I'm biased from nostalgia but genuinely i like the style and presentation of exo zombies i do legitimately like the attempts at making a cod zombies mode feel like just survivors trying to not die in an apocalypse, with things like power ups being named things like a DNA bomb idk it was just a cool idea

Man all you all need to stop talking so much trash on this game honestly in my opinion in full honesty I think the zombies mode on this was one of the best zombie modes ever to come out on call of duty absolutely loved the exo suits and the fact that there was even EXO zombies made it even more fun I loved having to take on all those different types of zombies difficulty makes games fun it's kind of the point lmao 🤣😂🤣
I remember not ever having the Zombies DLC and being so bummed about it that i would constantly rewatch the trailer for it then i saw the reviews of how it is not good and thought "guess i dodged a bullet"
I wish u would make a video on the cod black op 1 zombie menu tvs, i remember when i wqs younger i would always stare at the tvs for so long thinking of what was going on in it and wishing they explored these events in more depth
I have to disagree. At first I hated exo zombies and liked the MP, but then i realized just how dog shit the MP really was and how fun the zombies is compared to the MP.
What made you stop enjoying the MP?

there's also exo suits in bo3... kinda..... you just need a mod menu xD, but yeh aw was a bit too different from the normal franchize for me, ghosts tho, which is also completely different, i really enjoyed tbh, since it felt much more like a kind of open-world survival (it was closed... the spawn room also oftentimes being smol xD but aye to each their own ig :P

As somebody who remembers fondly WaW and Black Ops, that feels strange as Exo Zombies still feels relatively new to me.
We know that because this isn't those games.

Honestly I’d like to see variants from exo zombies combined with the mechanics of Cold War and its movement. Some people complain that game is to easy so having a map the bumps of the basic enemies a but would be cool

Underrated cod, people hate change as in movement reasons why titanfall didnt take off so good
Tbh i think titanfall got shafted because of its release dates constantly being overshadowed by more popular games which sucks

how did you get the FOV like that? there is no slider in the options
Its because I was playing it on PC
@@TheExceptionalGamer you can’t change it either on PC unless you download the cheat engine or a file that allows you to hotkey an FOV (the one of Steam doesn’t work anymore).
I just downloaded S1X and it had a command console to change it

Exo zombies sucked but I really enjoyed cod ww2 zombies. The first map is one I recommend every zombies player play at least once. Just avoid dlc 1 and 3 they are not that great but the tortured path survival maps were fun just avoid the game mode itself unless you want to do the Easter egg for some reason.
Nah bruh Exo zombies don’t suck people are just trash and can’t do basic things like using the advanced movement properly and curing yourself properly people like easy zombie’s games bc they are trash and cannot do harder things bc their skill level is way too low just like how you are 😂 treyarch zombies is easy that’s why people love it exo zombies was harder that’s why people hate it lol the player can’t do basic things like protecting someone like I swear to god that the community is filled with a bunch of 5 year olds who can’t do basic objective shit in a zombie’s game bc they are trash the guy in the video he could’ve survived but he was too dumb to jump in the air when he figured he couldn’t place a turret down bc of the zombies blocking him he could’ve double jumped before the electric zombie hit him but he didn’t bc zombies community is filled with a bunch of noobs
Sledgehammer didn’t make the zombies mode in this game they paid a company to make a zombie’s mode for advanced warfare then they put their name on it so it wasn’t sledgehammers take it was ww2 zombies and they wanted zombies to be hard in advanced warfare so they told the company to make it hard which is why it’s hard and some maps very hard. Sledgehammer didn’t make the zombies in this game but imo if they did it would’ve been better.

It did tbh. I think there was passion there from Sledgehammer games, just like there probably was with WW2 zombies, but putting it into motion was the downfall
