The only downside of the new ChatGPT advanced voice is that you can't use an old chat to start the conversation in the advanced mode. It defaults back to the old chat mode. I'm sure that will be updated at some point. But also, it only lasts an hour in advanced mode before it bans you 24 hours to use it again. I can understand the limitation, but 24 hours? On the AI used in movies... imagine being able to watch a movie and ask AI to come up with an alternate satisfying ending and it generates the movie exactly with an alternate ending.

@@AIForHumansShow I saw and I agree, given the demands it is a necessity. I currently work in AI R&D and have API access for most of the main models including OpenAI. You can query power usage if you know the right inputs, OpenAI guardian AI and systems tend to prevent this but there are work arounds, the amount of electricity used per input heavily depends on the workload but something as simple as using a chatbot takes as much electricity as 20 of my own PCs at full load. Napster was sealing pre-recorded music and allowing access to it directly - which is pirating. Here it is more akin to research: If I write a science paper which I've based on other people's work, I have to reference them. However, if I write a paper from just my own learned knowledge I don't - but I still got that knowledge from books and documentaries etc,. The question, therefore, is where is the line ?
yeah this really is the larger argument -- the idea that that AI isn't parroting exact results back but generating something new. I guess the question really has to do with yes, humans have been doing this for a long time themselves but now we have something that does it at the scale of 'everything ever created' which feels like a different paradigm?

I love Meta and in the short run (2 or 3 years), I feel meta will be great. But around 2027 when AGI arrives (maybe), the US government will get involved and start locking down super intelligence. Also, the Government may stop the progress of Open source when AGI is achieved as it becomes too big of a risk. Again, Pre-AGI open source and META isa great solution but what happens after that?
yeah it will be pretty interesting to see exactly how some sort of AGI gets released or not -- honestly it's something I'm pretty worried about not so much from a 'it's going to take us all out' but that the vast majority of earth's population won't really be able to use it to its full capacity

People today are increasingly overwhelmed by technology-constant notifications, social media, and digital overload are leading to stress, anxiety, and burnout. We are perpetually connected but often feel more disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. The rapid pace of technological advancement has made life more convenient, yet it has also cluttered our minds, disrupted our focus, and eroded our sense of peace. The remedy to this growing overwhelm lies in returning to simplicity and nature. Reconnecting with the natural world-whether through hiking, meditation, or simply unplugging-offers a powerful antidote. Nature grounds us, calms the mind, and brings clarity, helping to reset our overwhelmed senses. By embracing minimalism, slowing down, and appreciating the present moment, we can restore balance. The peace we seek doesn’t come from more technology, but from less of it-reclaiming the simplicity and tranquility that nature provides.
well yes but there's a world where this AI stuff could ultimately also free us from our tech addiction by taking away some of the monotonous stuff we do better tech can *sometimes* equal more free time to do the stuff we want. ofc, it all depends on how the capitalist system figures out how to disperse the winnings
Interdependent 2 sat can solve sudoku in p time with a cells possible number validity checker that's enough to get the functionality fast enough to effectively optimize it self to the bottom of the optimization slope. 20X speed up LLMs can be smaller and extensible and they can use a larger dataset of neural data to draw from when doing a particular inferencing task. 80x speed up by using a lot small active models A new Language for reasoning with a chain of thought can be reduced to 25000 carefully created words or so which can be represented as integers. 60x speed up due to reduction of over all LLMs of this kind can be represented as simple strength networks for each integer full of the integers(words) that are interdependent networks actually this would probably perform better at intelligence like picking up on some nuances in reason better and achieving optimal reasoning better. 20x speed up Doing all this if you made something like gpt5 with this new model it would mean I could run chat gpt strawberry like well on a 2GB raspberry pi 5. lmao its so true We don't even need the GPU or NPU for this sort of stuff it's just not at the bottom of the slope yet. Artificial intelligence is already sensational you don't need to further sensationalize it. Doing so has discouraged at least myself from wanting to continue viewing your content.
thanks for this note -- to be honest we always make two thumbnails for our content one that's a little more stylized like the one you see now and a more straightforward one and test them for at least the first five to six hours. GENERALLY, not always, the more dynamic / stylized one has been doing better overall and while we appreciate that some people might not love that look we've been doing the channel long enough that we have to start paying attention to the signals the RUclips algorithm is sending. I hope that answers your question? The good news is we're still the same two dudes inside the thumbnail making the same show.

I am saddened by your enthusiasm for the future your talking about. And of course the future itself. I get it, but It is clear from my perspective that take away the phones, open A.I., social media and things would be as they should. I feel in the real scheme of things the down side of those far outweigh the perceived benefits. I question whether the benefits are actually benifit and not just misguided attempt at self comfort, an attempt to change what shouldn't be changed. Including medical advances which are just an attempt to fight our natural world. The disconnection continues. It in truth is not progress.
We appreciate this but I think you're advocating, in part, to fight change at large? I think it's very hard to stop time as it rolls along and things 'improving' (whether you think of those things as improvements or not). I would challenge you slightly to go further back in the timeline and think about taking away other 'dangerous' tech like airplane travel and even medicine. That said, you CAN live a much simpler life yourself and choose that for yourself?

yeah the issue is that (like with the napster deal) it's literally PER USE meaning every person who searched something that called upon that data could be triggering the amounts etc
Neural link wristband gestures? no thank you, I want the false mustache and eyebrow gestures attachment.
now you got me imagining mods for these things like face filters to make everyone look like a zombie or something, like everyone in the crowd is naked. Smh
Kevin Pereira?! Well I'll be damned! 😅
that is him
There would be so much training data that if you don’t have computers to assist you with going through it you’re not gonna find shit
You guys are slowly creeping up not long ago you were at 2k views. Now up around 15k once ya get up to 30k you’ll actually start to get sponsers
Thanks for being here for the journey!!
Meta has already said they're not sure how many of their future releases will be open-sourced so I guess we shall see

What if they want 3 Mile Island for more than just energy consumption? What if… they’re trying to mutate computer parts by bedding in Geiger hazards???🤔
WHAT IF THEY'RE TRYING TO RAISE GODZILLA
Beware GOJIRA!!!
Resurrecting HR Geiger would be well worth the isotopic risks IMHO

The peace we seek doesn’t come from more technology, but from less of it-reclaiming the simplicity and tranquility that nature provides.
well yes but there's a world where this AI stuff could ultimately also free us from our tech addiction by taking away some of the monotonous stuff we do
better tech can *sometimes* equal more free time to do the stuff we want.
ofc, it all depends on how the capitalist system figures out how to disperse the winnings
When GTA6 on my meta glasses? 😅
clearly by 2045
Idk but I was sailing the high seas in vr last night
Interdependent 2 sat can solve sudoku in p time with a cells possible number validity checker that's enough to get the functionality fast enough to effectively optimize it self to the bottom of the optimization slope. 20X speed up
LLMs can be smaller and extensible and they can use a larger dataset of neural data to draw from when doing a particular inferencing task. 80x speed up by using a lot small active models
A new Language for reasoning with a chain of thought can be reduced to 25000 carefully created words or so which can be represented as integers. 60x speed up due to reduction of over all
LLMs of this kind can be represented as simple strength networks for each integer full of the integers(words) that are interdependent networks actually this would probably perform better at intelligence like picking up on some nuances in reason better and achieving optimal reasoning better. 20x speed up
Doing all this if you made something like gpt5 with this new model it would mean I could run chat gpt strawberry like well on a 2GB raspberry pi 5.
lmao its so true We don't even need the GPU or NPU for this sort of stuff it's just not at the bottom of the slope yet.
I say by 2026 things will be this good.

Hey are you guys keep doing the same thing where you make the cover photo you being shocked. It's gotten old to the point where I'll no longer be getting information for the people who do that.
Stealing property is a crime, therefore all AI is illegal

How is it ok to steal from other people? My lifes work was stolen and now your an artist, ok great, but why is it ok to steal from me? and my children and my grandchildren. How is any of this ok?
every time you pull the monkey card out... it becomes mega cringe for my ears...
so cringe in that the audio was bad or cringe in that it's a terrible thing to ask AIs to do and makes for bad content
either way it's fine, would rather know than not know dafunkyzee

I am A I. I love this show!
haha thank you so much
