    You're starting off with pre-existing slides. How do I create a presentation of blank slides (so I can drop text or photos onto them)?

      5:27 here I add a new slide. It’s the same process to start from a blank presentation you just won’t have any slides when you enter the slide editor and will need to add a new one.

    Hi how can I control slides by using usb midi controller knob or pedal. in my case I am using Arturia Keylab 61 mk ii usb keyboard controller. And the reason why I want to do, because I want to use my foot pedal that is already connected to my keyboard to change slides on pro presenter, the time of playing keyboard. The software that I use to get sound is MainStage 3. And in this software I can assign any bottom, feeder knobs of my usb keyboard to any function in MainStage I want. And if I can find the way to control, pro presenter slides either from my USB keyboard, directly or from mainstage software or maybe directly from food pedal.

      I’m not certain on the answer to this however, I think it would be possible. Propresenter is able to do midi control so theoretically I assume you can do this however don’t have much experience with this. I’d recommend looking at the propresenter manual online which is very thorough and the propresenter tutorials from renewed vision discussing midi control

      @@learnpropresenter I have one big problem that I have no been able to overcome. I want to create slides for things like the Apostles' Creed, our greeting, etc. And I just don't know how to start. I feel like I need a ProPresenters for Dummies guide. Can you help?

      @@stjamesumcspartanburg If you can help clarify a little bit more for me on where exactly you are stuck I can make a quick video in the next day or two. When creating slides are you struggling to import the words? Or just creating slides in general? E.g. Add new slide, add text etc? or are you just struggling with the design and layout of the slide where you choose what it looks like?
      Give me a couple of ideas about what you need help with and what you are trying to do e.g apostles creed, lords prayer etc. and I will make a video on how I would do it if you like.

      @@learnpropresenter pretty much all of it. Since this is new to us I was creating graphics and importing them in. I want to be able to create everything in PP7. I can import the Bible for scripture with no problem and pick a theme that works. But I haven’t had success in starting things from scratch and we’ve played around with themes and seem to create more problems.

      @@stjamesumcspartanburg I will make a video this afternoon and throw it up on youtube for you. I will just go over a couple of ways to add text and then also cover how to create slides in propresenter for a few different looks.

    How would I create a slide that sits over the shoulder of a minister, it isn't full screen, but only uses a quarter of the screen?

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  3 года назад +1

      Hi Garry,
      You could do this couple of ways. Firstly, if it is all the slides you would change the output screen size and dimensions in the settings where you create and label your screens for output
      If it is only a few slides, you could make these slides smaller and only take up a quarter of the screen or you could create a theme and look for a quarter of the screen and apply this look to those few slides you need to be smaller.

    Any idea why they took something that was a few clicks, then add 100 or so? Convenient that they got rid of PP6. Grrrr

      Sometimes there’s a trade off Is my best guess between ease of use and offering multiple features

    You started by never saying how you add a slide (a blank slide)

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  3 года назад

      Hi Matt, Sorry about this. To add a blank slide once you click edit up the top to go to te editing slides page, on the left hand column there is a small plus symbol up the top above where the list of slides is displayed. Click this to add a new slide.
