You don't have any idea of how much i wanted this game. After seeing videos on youtube , the game seemed really awesome to me. And i really agree with you that Star Fox Assault should return.
Starfox Assault was actually a really good game. I really appreciated the fact it matured alot, in the sense that it wasn't just the same ol' fighting Andross again. The aparoids were way more hardcore enemies than Andross's guys. Now if we could just get slippy outta the scene, it'd be even more mature. I vote instead of making more starfox games for kids, they make them for the generation that grew up with it, so they get more and more mature.
I love this game (I still play it now). The multiplayer has gigantic levels and lots to choose from once you unlock it all. The storyline was a little short but it was still fun. That's all that matters to me.
I agree. I think the main problem with Assault was that they didn't include the sheer amount of content in the single-player campaign as they did in 64. The multiplayer expansion was great, but to me it doesn't compensate for only 10 main missions. However, the missions, gameplay mechanics and overall story themselves were pretty interesting.

So true. I liked getting Fox out of that cramped Arwing cockpit for a little jaunt across the surfaces of the planets we fight so hard to defend. I want more ground action to be honest. I like the flying too of course since that's Star Fox's core, but nothing wrong with a little ground exploration here and there merged with Landmaster levels (which is what they pretty much did).
Omg...This Song is so Epic...It Brings back memories Of Me on The Wing of Star Wolf's Ship as I'm Shooting and I Remember this song playing...I Never beat the Game...But I Loved It...
When I first heard that song when I was playing the game and saw that huge looking Wolfens screaming down the scene, I was shocked and said to myself, "No way, That was Star Wolf?! Look at his new ship! There's no way I could beat it!" But in the end they were just to easy, even on gold!
Star Fox assault is such an underrated game. Yeah the Foot missions weren't always that fun but, they weren't THAT bad. In my opinion it's a worthy follow up to Star Fox 64.
I understand your point. I'm not a troll or flame, because it took A LOT of getting used to XD I do feel that land battle/foot battles really brought this game something great, especially multiplayer. Falco and Wolf were the best imo XD
@Risingkiwi actually in star fox assault, you kill andrew in the first mission. i didnt realize it but i was like "whatever happened to andrew" then in the opening video they said "the fleet is being lead by andrew oikanny" or sumthin like that. . . i had to assume they were the same person but idk how in many years that a male can do a reverse puberty and his voice goes higher

Star Wolf should have it's own series tieing itself with the past of the the star fox universe. Star wolf and the rest of the gang, how they got together, how they fell apart and met new characters along the way. I mean. you can almost taste the history hinted at with SF:Assault. Also, it should have customizable part and/or slider for attack, shields, speed, and maybe even specials. I don't know, I would just really like to play as star wolf for once.
@Quadraxon Most of it was newly orchestrated versions (don't know who exactly did them) but some were straight ports of the original tracks. This sounds identical to the Brawl version. The sped up theme was redone.

I was so happy Star Wolf returned in Assault with a much more awesome theme. Love that Spanish trumpet crying out! Gives me chills every time.
Wolf is a real badass in this game. Of course he does not win the battle with fox but he turns out to be a hero at the end of the day.

It's not too late. I got this game (it was a new copy, too)at a local EB Games 2 weeks ago. It only cost $15.
