Just a thought, do you think having Indy Lights & IndyCar on the same weekend as Trucks with different tires caused the wreckfest and maybe might of cause the biggest IndyCar death on history?
@@AustinLaPlante No, the biggest death in Indycar history was caused by poor managerial decisions, mainly at the fault of the brainlet who thought 34 cars on the track at one time was a good idea.
The first day truck race at Vegas in several years, some really dumb driving by multiple people and the final win of Hornaday's legendary Truck career.
I still wonder how long this race actually was when it was live on Speed. I would guess it was over two hours almost going into 3 hours. I also think Brian Ickler could've done a better job in the Truck series. Him being from San Diego was literally following Jimmie Johnson's footsteps.
it was crazy too bc weldon had such a good future ahead of him. he was joining andretti witch won 3/6 Indy 500’s the next 6 years and in 2012 Ryan Hunter Reay Andretti driver won the championship. One of indycars best what if’s
I remember being at the vegas truck race, I think 2015, when one driver crashed about 10 laps in and had to be helicoptered to the hospital. Curious as to what happened to that guy.

Ron Hornaday’s last ever Truck win, and Dan Wheldon’s 2nd to last day of being with us..
R.I.P. Dan Wheldon and was that really Ron's final ever Truck win

Who would’ve thought that what happened the very next day was a lot worse? Nice shoutout at 12:55

Trucks at Vegas have always been wild for some reason.
Back when Wreckfests were just a once or twoce a year thing in trucks.

Lmao that history about the Stacy Compton truck Made me say out loud “ got damn!”
Just an haunting weekend altogether cause of the tragic day
At 3:52, Ryan Sieg was staying out under the cautions, holding the leaders up like he has this year way back in 2011
ryan sieg is above the cut line right now on the playoffs
I have a Idea, For the Other Wreckfest video Add 2020 Yellawood 500 TALLADEGA Play-Offs and Good Video Bro :)
this is nothing compared to the next day's wreck.
Dan Wheldon's death was IndyCar's Dale Sr. moment.

"Misjudged his braking point"... More like I don't think he had any brakes

Probably thinking Austin theriault. He recovered fully and raced again after that but wasn’t really any good. Ended up out of nascar

This was a huge mess but it was still a great race
I got really worried after this race about the Indy Car race the next day
Unfortunately, you had good reason to...

Literally all I remember about this race was that Ron ran a red no. 2 truck.
New sub! Liked 😁🙏😃😄🙂🌙
4:08 oh god that’s the SAME AREA as Wheldon’s crash…
Y was Ron in 2 not 33
Kevin wanted to seal the owner's championship with the 2 after the 33 fell off.
@@K9RacingAndStuff ah ok thanks

Dan Wheldon’s last Full Day
Will number 3 let this kid have a chance or what?
You have an air of someone who is trying hard not to misspeak
Either that or you're reading off a script
At least no one died
Unlike what happened the next day at the same track
