Yes, this is a nice set. It's been out over a year that I know of.
Agreed. Great set.
It's only $25 in this weekends parking lot sale. Had mine for a while(paid full price), but don't need it often.
@@ravenbarsrepairs5594 correct and thank you for sharing! 👍🏻
This is actually a very nice set for the money. Im not a HF fan at all however you have to give credit where credit is due....
I feel many would agree.
I just got one and it's been in my pocket ever since. Used it a few times and it's nice.
I do car audio for fun and will never not have this by my side, best 35 bucks ive ever spent
Good to hear you really like it!
One of the best all in one solution that I’ve used thru my years as Maintenance tech 🤘🏻🤘🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars
Thanks for commenting!
I never imagined I'd use mine as much as I do.
Glad to hear. Thanks for sharing
Looks like a very solid set! I have a couple Icon products that i really like, and I'd def add this to the collection if i didnt already have something similar from my mac tool truck. But, that was $80 and only included the actual ratchet and the extension(which can't function as a T-handle as demonstrated in this vid!) No bits included either! So this is an incredible value, especially considering the warranty. Nice review
Appreciate your comments. It does appear to be a solid set. Maybe save up for one of their 25% coupons and get the set. I’m certain you would enjoy it.
I like that you looked at the security bits for quality, I've sean well known brands filling their box's with cheap rubbish lately and it sad to see how tools are becoming.
Fun Fact; Also on Amazon as FACOM 31pc and in Australia as Sidchrome 31pc slight difference in peaces looks to be leaving out the 4 SAE hex bits but everything else is there
Great video 👍
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I may have to look into those Facoms to see the difference.
I really like this set. I paired it with my Craftsman 25 pc 1/4 inch socket set.
Thanks for sharing. Yes they should pair well
You forgot to show the extention bar goes into the ratchet handle to make it a longer handle for more torque.
Good catch! I’ll be sure to remember next time. 👍🏻
Recently purchased a set, and absolutely love it
Excellent. Glad to hear your enjoyment. Please consider subscribing and liking for more videos! 👍🏻
Can post me one to merry old England if you want I'd be your mate for life lol😂
@@aarondavies8486 sounds like a solid side hustle. 😊
@@thingsmen Yeah a little but it's better than me being robbed 120 quid for the facom one made in the same factory nice to see an American gets a little sarcasm to mate
Definitely on the list for edc
I would have to agree. Great price and combination of tools in a robust case. 👍🏻
Just add a set of sockets in a PVC tube and your prep ready.
It’s a solid 1/4 hex ratchet. Bit selection is meh. No square/Robertson. No sockets just the adapter. No room for extras in the case
That said I like the ratchet and extension. Great for under/inside dashes.
The thumb wheel is great
Back drag doesn’t get better
The bits it comes with are nice and they have a lifetime warranty
Value. Ok.
Appreciate the feedback. How long have you owned yours?
@@thingsmen 9 months to a year. I looked for it for a long time before it was available at a local store. I have 2 other bit ratchets and wanted the longer handle and flex head. I have a Menards brand Masterforce (made by apex so gearwrench) and a Stanley that have sockets but this is a much better ratchet. I complain about lack of sockets but not an issue as it’s not an EDC for me I swapped a couple of the large Allen heads I doubt I ever will use for sq2 bits.
Between the flex head and the extension it’s really useful and a knuckle saver
Nice set, looking forward to buying me one👍
Well worth it.
I wish we had harbor freight were I live...i think it's an American company? I would love one of these kits for sure! Thanks so much for sharing this one bruv! Cheers from the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver island in Canada!
Yes they are based out of Southern California. I’m not sure if they have any Canadian locations but you could check their website or visit the next time you’re in the states. Thanks again for commenting and please consider subscribing and giving a like 👍🏻
Hi mate thanks for the review i wish i could get this here in England am not paying over 110 quid for something you guys get at 40 dollars
I can understand that. Knowing Harbor Freight it’s likely they copied it from an existing manufacturer so it might also be out there selling under a different name. Thanks for commenting and please consider liking and subscribing to our videos!
Got the same branded by Facom for many years now, it was part of my EDC till I have been moving to PB Swiss Tools…
Great. Thanks for sharing.
They (HF) need to make a locking flex head in 1/4" & 3/8 drive also.
I think many would welcome that idea. 👍🏻
I believe there is a new version on its way.
That would be nice to see.
@@thingsmen it's on DMAXRYNO YT channel about new Harbour freight tools at Sema video last month at the 9min 45 sec mark.
@@LemonySnicket-EUC yes appears to be the slightly larger set with SAE and metric sockets included. Thanks
exellent tools
Agreed. Better than anticipated. Thanks for commenting.
They need a way to fit a 10mm socket in here
That would be a bad idea. 👍🏻 word in the street is they already have an updated set in the works with sockets. 😀 Thank you for commenting. Please consider liking and subscribing 👍🏻
Is the bit holder on the ratchet head magnetic?
No it’s a compression fitting. However the handle end is magnetic.👍🏻
@thingsmen thank you! Wish it was magnetic to be able to hold screws like the Klein Tools mini ratchet but I guess it wouldn't be too hard to stick a magnet on the back if needed.
@@Sinbios sure. Would the compression fitting not work in your case? Could you magnetize the bits prior? If not then you could put a magnet on the end. 👍🏻
@thingsmen yeah the compression fitting would be fine for holding the bit, but I like having screws stick to the bit as well, so was hoping for the holder to be magnetized like in the handle end and extension bit sockets. Do you have any suggestions for how to magnetize bits quickly and permanently?
Now they're copying VIM.
Pretty sure they purchased from the same overseas manufacturer.
VIM and ICON have these made by HI-FIVE manufacturing in Taiwan
But unlike VIM I can run into town and get immediate warranty at Harbor Freight. (Provided it's in stock, some stuff is just popular)
