    Fantastic idea Debbie, I put a search in to google for a bottle bag and lovely surprise you popped up. Mum (Marjorie Turton) sends her love and hopes you and your family are well x

    I don't know how you figure out how to sew these together and not get the lining all tangled up and backwards or in a knot but you do and you again make it look so simple. You just have a mind that it makes sense to you for me not so much. You're a genius!

    Thank you! Although, at Debbie's house the fabric just behaves. At my house, I try to fold the fabric over and cut out a shape (The handle in the lining) and the fabric just laughs at me...😁 I am going to try this! So cute!

    So nice and easy. I have seen wine tote tutorials in which the tote has to be squeezed through the handle to bring it to the front side…too fiddly. This is so much easier. Thanks for sharing. 😃

    I should make a couple of these!! I did however use your video from July for a box bag with a zip. The size you demonstrate is large enough for a lunch bag... I made it quite a bit larger so that the bag can be used by my daughter when she is crocheting. I added a zip pocket to the front also. I need to put the grommets in yet and make a carrying strap...Thank you for the idea!!

    I’ve made a few of these bags now and love the pattern. Is there any way of making them so that the quilting seams match up on both sides please?

    Is there a downside to topstitching the curves while they are still flat on the table? I made one of these yesterday and that seems easier than fiddling with it under the presser foot later on.

    • @debbieshore
      @debbieshore  3 года назад

      But didn’t you get a lump at the seam, as you can’t open it flat if it’s top stitched?

    • @lindajohnson5307
      @lindajohnson5307 3 года назад

      @@debbieshore Actually, I made this according to your instructions, topstitching afterwards...the question occurred to me later. Maybe I'll try it on the next attempt! Meanwhile, may I say, I thoroughly enjoy your tutorials. You've got a natural ability for sewing instruction and your videos are efficient and easy to watch. I've made quite a few of your items just for fun; thanks so much and happy Christmas to you.

    What thermal fleece do you use? Is that the same thing as insul-brite?

  • @oakstrong1
    @oakstrong1 3 года назад

    I am thinking of a baby bottle holder, with a "2-part" handle so you can wrap it around a pram handle and close it with a button, for easy access. If it is an umbrella buggy, a button-up Barry handle is of course not necessary. For carrying around a water bottle, I would make the handle long enough to sling over my shoulder - I would still make the strap wide for comfort.

  • @leannadodman4941

    Insul-brite is that the one to use
