When I found out that Kuo Chui, A.K.A. Phillip Kwok, A.K.A. Number 4 The Lizard from The 5 Deadly Venoms was the fight choreographer, I knew why I loved the fight scenes so much!!!
You and me both..loved the venom squad and he choreographed this like only he could no wonder I liked the fight scenes and that was before I found out about the legend KUO CHUI..#4 the lizard..🙏 bad ass

Mark Dacascos totally made this movie memorable just like Angelina Jolie in Girl Interrupted. Take away his character and it it's just another boring movie.
I know is a late answer but if you still interested, this video was a part of the French collector edition of the movie DVD. I don't know what is in the blue ray version, but in this complere edition, there is also a documentary about the true story of the beast (the movie is derived from the criminal story to become the director political point of view) and there is also a making of the general movie project from the conception of the scenario to the Cannes film festival premiere.

Mark Docascos is a cool actor others too, but his role was the best - great body type, very cool costumes also

I agree, the movie wouldn’t be nearly as good without him. The fate of his character made the story more emotional towards the end
