there are actually a lot of people that enjoy the savior schnapps. but they will, like they did in the last game, have the chance to save without them. Instead of just not allowing people to save scum the game like BG3, they made a fun way to still save but still not save scum.
What I meant by my comment is that with a feature that is so highly controversial in a game, it's better for designers to make it optional if they want to please the audience. If it were 90% for, 10% against, I could see an argument against it. However, it seems to be closer to the center than that.
Im not a hardcore gamer but I enjoyed the combat in KCD. Its not that hard. I mean its kinda hard at the begining when youre still on low level and dont have enough experience but later on its a good fun. Still challenging but I never felt like it was frustrating. And when you win the fight I always get a great feeling. Because its so immersive. Never had similar feeling in any other game because all of them has just so basic combat. Maybe in Mount & Blade but it doesnt reach KCD's level at all.
