How to self level a unlevel floor

    Is it normal for this stuff to dry all sandy and gritty? Or did I fail?

      It's not normal. May have added too much water. Compound is sensitive to over watering.
      But, if you can't scrape it off after pouring it, you may be okay.

      yeah it should be nice and smooth but you should still be able to sand it

    If theres any i mean ANY flex in that plywood subfloor youre in trouble. Throw some screws in first. I personally prefer screwing down durock and lay porcelain tile n thinset mortar and not use self leveler. God bless bro

      This is over concrete slab. If you’re referring to the short i made that was on a different project but yeah im not a fan of pouring self leveler over plywood (definitely not this much) but it can be done in small amounts
