You forget one step. if you have air suspension, you must put the car in garage mode. or at least set the setting in the mmi so that the air suspension is locked

If you just open the brake fluid reservoir cap wouldnt you avoid having to bleed the system?

A hell of a good job as usual Jarrad, Over at the Ross-Tech VCDS forum we get alot of 2.0 engine questions (oil consumption and timing chains) and I usually send them over to you and advise them to watch all of your engine videos. Merry Christmas.

    good except...
    1. u didnt clean the wheel hub perfeclty as u should
    2. u do not grease the pin itself, u should get them out, polish them, and slide them back without grease, grease is used only on the outside of rubber guides to prefent water from "growing aluminium" to prevent their "expandity?" and jaming the metal pins of the carrier
    3. of course changing brake fluid is also good idea in this case

Do the brake hose stress test.
    That would be interesting.

I had to replace the rotors and pads on my 2018 3.0t A6 Quattro premium plus at 15K miles at the dealership, warped and deeply grooved rotors. They were not covered under warranty ($1500.00). I started feeling brakes and steering shaking at 40K, I'm about to hit 45K and will be replacing rotors and pads with Zimmerman rotors and Akebono ceramic pads to see how they hold up. I mainly do all the highway driving, 80-85 mph and the wife uses the car in town, neither of us drives aggressively and i mainly drive my GMC pick up.

How many miles did this 2017 A7 have on it? Burnt through pads already on a 2017 must have been really enjoying the heck out of it! The Akebonos will likely last the remainder of that cars life span. I have 70k miles on my Akebono ceramic pads and they still look like new thickness.

Great video. Can you do a video on where to put the jack stands on an Audi Q7 if you raise using the jack pad? Can’t find that info anywhere.

So am I crazy for putting some anti-seize on the hub and contact surface for the rim and the rotor and make removing these a snap? Also, the difference in brake caliper build quality between my Jetta & Passat and this Audi A6 is insane.

@Nap, what is your opinion on bedding process? Manufacturers will add directions for the process with the box.

No point. The prices nowadays for new rotors are so affordable it is a no brainer.
Plus most car manufacturers DO NOT recommend re-surfacing rotors
