Not even me.. I'm like a fetus position 😂

That trench coat lesson was some next level shit. Looking at the senior model, she’s actually shifting her hands slightly and keeping them a few inches away from her waist to flutter the coat and make it look expensive. Had no idea models go through this kind of training.
And the training they receive really does make the difference in how the outfit is perceived
Yes we do but it's the best because we are polished and poised. 😁
@Ella Cavazos Yes I started when I was 18, now I am 24 (height 178cms)😃☺
Industry isn't really good but if you want to do it like me just as a hobby then go for it 😃💪🏻 you can succeed ☺
@Ella Cavazos Yes, join international agency only. Good Luck xo
@90’s Seulgi Well yes unfair things happen in every industry but more in Modeling/Acting industry. It is negative 😃 but it really depends on individual.. If you smart enough to know what you should and shouldn't do.
But walking on the runway helped me with anxiety and confidence.
What she's doing is actually better than just saying 'chest high, straight back, relax your shoulder.' She's not just actually telling them, but also showing them precisely what she's looking for. Not everyone is the same. Some learn just by just listening and others by being visually shown.
Exactly!
Exactly.
the video started
me: straightening my back
the video ended
me:back to normal
same lol
Omg I did the same🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same 😞✊
y u expose me:
Omg i didnt realized that
Instagram models need to see this those girls are working hard to reach their dreams and not using their fame nor their family to model no offence just feeling bad about someone who works hard and still not getting recognised .
Shaimae Bangtan there is video where instagram models and runway models come and talk about the similarities and differences
I agree. It's no joke.
World is unfair, fact
Instagram Models are famous because of people. They wouldn’t be known if people didn’t made them known. It’s really not a persons fault if other people give them recognition. Your comment is extremely foolish and makes no sense. Blaming someone for their popularity when it is not in their hands. And rather people who give them attention .
And less photoshop cos there aint no photoshop in real life.
I didnt feel like she was yelling maybe just scolding but nothing horrendous. She seemed very nice.
yeah I was expecting a teacher yell LMAO
Yeah, I noticed that Koreans call any form of scolding "yelling". In English, _yelling_ means people 20 meters away will be able to understand every single word clearly. Wrong use of the term, there was no yelling in this video.
As a matter of fact, even the scolding of the teacher was very mild.
Their faces is quite raw and I like it. Don't need big eyes and tall nose to look pretty. Speciality of these models is their unique faces and very easy to blend in with special/ abstract makeup.
In recent years this look for models has become a LOT more popular, especially in Korea and Japan. It’s more “raw”, “unique”, and “barren”.
Instead of making every model look the same, seeing different outfits in the same line on models with different features really makes the whole line shine brighter
Well I have quite some big eyes and in my country, it’s not received very well. That’s what they trade me with.
I mean tease, not trade.
You can't be a great model if your face too plastic like most kpop idols.
I'm really surprised why I am soooo hooked with these videos from Esteem lol
Sameee
Sameeee
sameeeeeeee
Me too
If im not mistake is esteem under sm??
That presentation part is so similar to presentations in class. I understand her when she said to come early to prepare but as a student, I hate to admit that she's right, lol. I thought she's the best boss in the show. You have to agree with her because she is right. And she joining the class to see how the lesson is made really shows she's not there to simply tell people what to do, but to help them how to do it better. She's really there to help them to become the next top model. She's an actual girl crush!
I learnt that in school 20 years ago. To this date, I am only early for meetings. It is all about time management and attitude.
@@choonkeonglim6178 being punctual is empowering
I mean, c'mon. Everything the CEO says made sense. Like really. She needed to scold them to prove a point, make them learn and enhance yourself. You were there for a reason, so show off your skills, and work real hard. The CEO aids you in your work to enhance. Strict, but she can make your shiz done.
(I am also scolded many times by my superior, so I know the feeling)
All of her criticism was constructive and not malicious which is exactly what a superior should do
Exactly. She's like a dance teacher, dance instructors literally HAVE to be very strict in order to be good teachers because dance takes a lot of discipline, and I'm sure modeling is the same way
I think she is the ideal boss, Esteem wouldn't be the same without her, people like Esteem because they are good and details to which she contributes quite a lot. She has a good eye for things which has helped the company succeed
omg is that really yelling ??? then it means my mom was fighting for all these years
not your bona hahaha good one..but yes..the mc make it like she is a villain or something..she's just doing her job and she knows what's best 4 them
IKR XD
@@rabiatuladawiyah1402 Maybe a bit. But I kinda understand how she should advised her employee separately and not in front of the models. But! This ceo is not that extreme. She is still very softspoken and everything. 😬
After watching the models train in Boss in the Mirror, I can better understand why runway models could feel a bit offended if they were categorized as the same as instagram models. As someone who didn't have that interest in the whole fashion industry or instagram world, I didn't initially understand but I see how much training these models go through (and I only saw a mere snippet of what they actually go through). It's a lot of physical effort and control and attention to so much detail. A lot of respect to runway models.
I don't even understand how the instagram selfie takers have the nerve to call themselves "models". It's like somebody who manages to make fried eggs without burning down the house calling himself a "chef".
My cousin is a model so I empathize with them. There is a difference between looking good and actually making the clothes look good. Instagram models are the former, runway models the latter.
whoa the model that got tied up changed drastically
Holy I'm so impressed with that trench coat part. The senior made it look like a completely different and more nicer / expensive coat.
She's actually a really good boss, they are lucky to have her because she not only says what to do but shows it. She wants the best for the models and help them improve. That's how a boss should be
I like that she's a very hands-on boss. Not all CEOs are like that. She's in the industry for so long so I'd really take heed with her advice as much as I can.
I think I understand President Kim more and more. The most important thing for working is being professional.
true. She shouldn't be the one waiting for her staff to arrive for the meeting. Anyone who does a presentation needs to be there early to check if everything they need is working fine, so the meeting is not delayed. She's not being too much by telling her staff to be prompt and prepared.
peko agree. They need to be prepared beforehand but here the ceo waiting for them. That’s not professional. Time is money.
My hand is much thick than the models leg..
Yeo Nu wow that’s nice
Lol my upper arm is the size of their calves
OK?
Don't skinny shame
All bodies are beautiful??? It's their choice how they want to look .-.
This is why you can never compare instagram models to runway models. They work hard for things like this, even trained day in and day out just to be able to show off the quality and the work done on clothes that they're wearing. It's a job no one should belittle because "social media is everything now" . It's not all glitz and glamour for them
Doesn't matter. Runway models earn worse than insta models now
Lel
No wonder itzy looks so glamorous when they walk and the way they bring themselves on stage
itzy ? why itzy ? am i missing solething about itzy ? (i am a fan but i dont know what tou are talking about)
@@nearyyin5648 they trained itzy in terms of modelling and runway
@@milliepede6715 ooooh i did not know that ! I never saw them on a midel show runaaway (sorry i'm french i don't know the word)
The improvements are immediate when you have someone professional enough to spot even the tiniest problems, know the exactly suitable methods to fix those problems and aren't hesitate to put things in motion (because that's what needs to be done for the job, nothing personal), that's CEO Kim!
I've watched several videos of CEO Kim now and i LOVE her, she's funny and childish, which creates a fun and reachable vibe for her employees but she's serious and professional when she needs to.
11:25 is really a good tip if u wanna fix your posture
Thanks for telling this 😊
@@tanupriya2115 u r welcome
Thanks for the time stamp🙆♀️
But how long do you do it each day? Is 30 minutes a day (for a month or 2) long enough?
@@lilyvelly2530 She said 2h a day
I'm not a model, I just don't want to walk around like Gollum anymore.
😂 the exercise band tip looked really good! Have you had tried any of the advice here?
Bruh I love how they portrey her as someone strict and serious but she pretty nice and patient tho, people too soft these days...
Being a runaway/fashion model is much more than just being a pretty face. These girls end up learning their angles and how to work with camera, they are literal chameleons! Not everyone can become one, like you can on instagram. I've actually grew to have respect for those chicks after watching a lot of ANTM spin-offs and trying "modeling" myself for my own character photos . That takes HOURS, plus, next day i would wake up with my legs and arms sore, because of how much you have to twist your body and use your muscles to get the right pose to look good. It's a whole skill and you have to know your body like counting to 5 and also to know how it's gonna look in photos, what does a camera lens do to it, neither one of them do i know (lol), but those girls DO (and a lot of it comes with experience, or being a natural). They don't need directions. Add this to knowing how to do runway and do it naturally while looking good, fierce and showing off the garment and it's a killer combo. Their job is NO JOKE. It is hard work and a lot of learning, i you don't have it naturally.
Suddenly straighten my back as soon as I clicked this video
I love your pfp lmao
I think the girl who was tied up looks so beautiful.. she has such a unique face
okay but can we talk about how beautiful the employee with the tshirt
S Basma she’s so pretty, right?
Lol I have terrible back posture. I’ll sure to try that out 😂
1:15 relatable when Microsoft Windows decided you need automatic update during your important meeting 😐🔥 *flip the table*
btw getting a straight back is mainly connected with shoulder muscles. if you have the appropriate amount of shoulder and neck muscles you will naturally walk more upright and straight. If you do not train them enough you miss that support and you automatically appear hunched bc your shoulders fall forwards.
this can be very easy be prevented by doing upperbody workouts like push-ups although for those to be effective the models need to eat more and gain a bit of weight for the body be able to form those muscles. if one is too skinny it is almost imossible to build muscle.
MCs are wondering how there can be so much improvement in such a short time ... that's what happens when a master is at work.
Kim notices every little detail and has a remedy for it, immediately. That's pretty impressive, and the reason why she is sitting in the boss' office.
I've been watching this for 5 months even though I'm not modeling lol but it sure did straighten my body like a plywood
Really
I can see why the agency is one of the best in South Korea. Everyone is doing their job and the boss make sure they do it well and doesn't sugar coat anything.
Omg nct 127 fire truck 🔥
Ayyyyyy
nctzen rise
Maybe the show is well aware that Esteem is a subsidiary of SM, that's why they played an SM song for the intro 😆
@@huntersvendsen7326 that's what i thought so too
AYEEEE
Yass finally!! I get to know now the tips for modeling hahahaha soon i'll apply for model in Esteem ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ😆🙏🙏
Goodluck
best of luck!
Best of luck!!
how tall are you?
@@shaniawong2699 Im 5 flat lmao😂
I like that she is firm and keeps check. As the head of the corporation , it is good that she is involved with the staff as well as the models. She is successful as a head because she has an eye for the smallest details and her anecdotes are not unnecessary if they are helping, considering that she has been doing this for years.
jung hyunmo should really shut up. It seems like he's trying to be funny by criticizing the bosses, but the joke is getting old. The bosses aren't even mean, they're just doing their job. Even Sook doesn't criticize as much as him.
jun hyunmo is really annoying in knowing bros too. He seems to be an arrogant, obnoxious person irl...
MorningGloryy jun hyunmoo appears in knowing bros too?? I didn't knowww
@@shrawana he was there calling seo jang hoon and the others stupid. Then he suggested they do a quiz and he lost to the members (he scored 0/8) lmao.
this is my first time watching a clip of the show and i gotta say the concept of the show is REALLY nice if not for the same faces mc I'm seeing and knowing that they MUST butt in every single time there's a pause.... I love kr shows and variety but the dynamic of mcs and their repetitiveness just gets old to me idk
Ikr....The CEO was actually not even rude or evil, what she said or did was important for the models to increase the modelling skills. He did not know anything but acting like he knew sh*t
CEO miss Kim So Yeon so charismatic, i feel like in the meeting as her staff, noding to what she said.📑📒✏😅
I was pleasantly surprised to hear Firetruck at the beginning.
why’s no one talking about fire truck at the beginning
jamieshoos _ i smiles hehe
Boss yang and. Boss Kim seriously are great bosses. Both of them wants to see their employees on peak and for that they are making them work hard. Because nothing comes without hardwork. These both seriously teach me how be a professional and leader.
I'm no model... But I do need help straightening my camel back.
Kenny Anahuac i have a round back and i slouch unconsciously when sitting and i have postural scoliosis. Sometimes if my back is stressed, there will be nagging pain and it interferes my work. So i do wall exercises plus i need to strengthen my back muscles.
Im happy that this show is exist, i can learn new things☺ hope this program last forever💖💖💖
Am I the only one hoping that a SM artist would visit? 🤣
Such a good boss. She fixed them immediately. I felt like the girls worked harder so their teacher wouldn't get in trouble more ^^
This is the reason why esteem called the top model management💓
Watching the model industry are so much fun
I thought i was the only weirdo who has tall and skinny body.. thank god i found this video
Yeah me too, it boosted my self esteem a bit :D
Alot of models are tall and skinny so dont feel bad
Never give in to what society has to comvince you of.
Same!! Seing them kind of makes me feel better!!
Same😂😊
I really like the part of CEO said 해보자 화이팅 🥰
It feels encouraging
I love their boss. She may look strict but she knows what needs to be done. 😍
Es una maestra tremendamente buena. Sabe en qué está mal cada una y las corrigió correctamente y en minutos parecían modelos profesionales 😲🤯
Wow that ceo is one awesome woman . She dropped real jewels in there. I loved the video very knowledgeable
Yeah, she is really good. No idea why they all call her "strict" and "scary". If they did this show in a Japanese or German company, they could see what "strict" is.
Thats a big help for me I really have a terrible back posture
I can see CEO Kim's professionalism and passion. there are things that needs to be said even infront of other people, not to embarass them or what but to point out things that needs to be fixed for them to be able to improve.
No need to tell her off, she knows what she's doing.. She's the CEO for a reason.
Yes! It's 2022
Very helpful and informative. I will definitely try the tying method for helping my back posture 👍
Immediately practice to put my hands on my back. I always told that my upper posture is bad due to my habit I lack of confidence since Im taller than average person so I always bend my back to make myself shorter :(
Same :
My mum basically taught me all this for "good posture", then i went to med school for 5yrs. I'm practically smeagle at this point.😅
no wonder yeji’s posture is so nice. even when sitting down. i would die to have her posture!
CEO Kim has such a wonderfully Miranda Priestley vibe.
... I was waiting for her to say ".. That's all..." 😳
Opening with NCT127 fire truck 💚
Esteem is from SM
@@InfiresTaekook yeah... that's why i followed them on all the IG accounts since then
I was so shook
I'd never watched a video like this before, but I watched this one without skipping. Loved it
nct 127's firetruck at the beginning :')
i wanna model for them bc even tho they are hard on their models they still praise when they improve and that warms my heart 😭🥺
modeling class is hard but fun to learn.. been there before. we use stick to keep our back straight
I'm impressed. Like, so much improvement just happened because the CEO instructed new techniques. Upon seeing this I'd question what the instructor has been doing all along too.
I have sciatica scoliosis and back pain from bad posture so I tried the posture tip and it works like wonders I am gonna do it everyday for 15 minutes and later on one hour
CEO Kim is really charismatic!! I am falling on her attitude!!!😍😍😍
Her advice on what to do is on point
Damn. I never thought about walking at all until now.
I don’t wanna have a skinny body, I just wanna have good posture T_T
Marie G you don’t need to be skinny to have a good posture.
Fr its kinda ironic how good posture can make you look a bit thinner
Marie G honestly for Korean models there probably the right weight but it just doesn’t look that natural I bet if they gained like even 5 pounds they would be even more beautiful then they already are and same I wish I had better posture
@@camilaflores7037 i don't really think some of them are the right weight. one of the models in this video looks scarily thin, she looks like me age 7 thru 12. i get that people like their models skinny, but it's kinda crazy.
After learning the tip for good posture i've been doing this but without the strap 😂 i want more tips from ceo kim ❤❤
The reason why celebs should not be on magazine covers but them who are trained for that
while my back be like
↩️
↪️
"Just imagine one of those Models sitting on a hard chair"
I want to be trained by her as well
I feel like the MCs should have a couple of episodes where they have to experience what it would be like to be a CEO of one of their companies. Obviously the actual CEO should be there to make sure that they are doing the right thing, but in general, the MCs, (mostly Jung Hyunmo), should see what it is like when the CEO's don't be strict and scold the staff
Blubbering squishy he’s arrogant and obnoxious it’s annoying.
nct firetruck in the beginning 🤧 i see they are people of culture-
ive rewatched this ten times now
I’m 157-ish cm tall so I spent the whole duration of the class footage staring enviously at the legs. I have to have good posture to not like a hobbit. Ahaha
After CEO Kim did to Yebin... OMG!!! I must do this..😍
Alright guys, did you guys learn from this video your mistakes? Now it’s time to walk around like these models 😎
I'm so surprised because NCT's song as a opening backsound for this Video. But, thanks you so much. I'm so proud.
If the leader does this consistently this is actually quite ideal on the quality stand point, would want to see more on the strategy site though
Amazing, everyone is so talented.
Wow i immediately fix my posture after watching this 😂
Free class. Learnt so much 🤣
that coach though, her visuals are out of this world!!
god. even if i dont plan to be a model or anything this video was very useful for me because of my bad posture
Thank you for lessons!
Now I know how to walk like a model.
Holy frick, they got better super fast that was amazing
This is really helpful since I’m a aspiring model 🥺
lmao nct's fire truck at the beginning
I don’t need this because I had scoliosis surgery so now my back is perfectly straight and my posture is so good
I've been looking for ways to correct my posture. I guess I'll need to figure out how to tie my arms behind my back now 👍
I would recommend using a hairtie or an elastic. Probably not as effective as the method used in the video, but it would keep your arms behind your back.
This is really cool, we always love passionate human being
I love this show
