Being a runway model for top designer brands is not about how beautiful they look conventionally, it is about their unique features and how they carry themselves and the clothes they are wearing. Designers look for someone who can show their clothes off. Hence why you find models with unique features for top designer brands.
@@lioness77alfar if you read what she sayd , for her models dont have to be handsome etc , the only thing they want is that you can fit on every clotes

Ya ! I guess because as their teacher, he understands their struggles haha. When Boss Kim keep talking they couldn’t eat, he signalled them to eat 😂😂 also I didn’t mind his fashion sense, his looks, his haircut and his earrings gave him a “model” aura!
OMG, I’ve learnt so much from Esteem’s video. They had shown us a lot about fashion, the process of stage, how model walk, the different of standards between male-female model. I watched several of variety show and this show is the most interesting when it come to knowledge!

It’s so charming when he was talking about the fashion culture. I’ve always been curious about fashion but I never know when to start with fashion culture and history in my research, any advice?
Go to a local library or even a university/college library and borrow a few random books about fashion that catch your attention. It's better to start somewhere than nowhere. That's how you'll be able to find your own way to the subjects that interest you the most (for example, certain cloths like wedding dresses throughout history or how emancipation was shown/represented through fashion).
Vogue, Tatler, iD, vice and vanity fair magazines and internet presence are very good for getting the basic information about current fashion and style and from there you will find out about trends, books, exhibitions etc you might find interesting and want to research. Tbh don't try to find a place to start, just throw yourself into it
Maybe by starting knowing the name of the items.. Such as peep toe heels, Chukka Boots, Leather Denim, etc which you can learn in fashion magazines or internet.. Then after you can distinguish the items, you can start learning the history or mix-match style Good luck!
Lol I wouldn’t go to a library. If you want to be a professional, that’s a totally different story. But if you’re just exploring fashion, then have fun with it. You don’t even have to actually focus on contemporary fashion trends. For example, you can look at costume design which involves an understanding of historical clothing. Someone I knew in the fashion department at my school worked at a museum where she would clean up/repair historical artifacts like old dresses or headpieces. You can talk with friends or family about things they might be interested. If you don’t have that, then look at social media, especially Instagram and see what people are wearing. It can be influencers, fashion brands, or celebrities. You can look up videos on RUclips too, like other youtubers outfit videos, or even watch runway shows if you might be interested in. You don’t have to force yourself to do anything, but if you find something you think is cool then explore it.
I used to go to a design school, there we used to talk about models a lot since we have to design clothes with models and trends in mind. Seeing boss Kim’s episodes always makes me inspired to go back and designing clothes again!
I like how it shows that fashion isn't following trends, fashion is what looks good on you. I wish more koreans realized that because I feel like part of the korean obsession with beauty is due to the fact that they dont change their styles to fit themselves, they change themselves to fit some trend. Realistically speaking, there is no way one trend will suit everyone so why not just wear what looks best on you be it clothes or a hairstyle.
The make over and their new style won't look good on the street casually, but it really makes them look ready for the runway. Before they looked like any other dude on the street, after they stand out more which is important because they have to be models.
It would totally look good on the street - though maybe not that blue leather jacket. it's all about confidence when it comes to pulling it off, because they all def have the looks
They look much better actually after getting hair cut and Noma change their style ! And they look like a real model, what the boss said about how the model should look is true hehehe Just my opinion❤️
15:19 i had a heart attack legit. He looked so good already. His friends must be teasing him out of jealousy if it ever happens because that hairstyle really really did show off his face really well

Kinda sad that the expectations for female and male models differ so much, with (obviously) visual appearance that is heavily emphasised on for females and RATHER style for males.....isn’t it quite ironic that females who are also models have to cater to the visual aspect whereas male models don’t really have to....? dang edited: To clarify, I’m not saying one is favoured over the other or discrediting the respective struggles for both genders but it’s just dawned upon me that these expectations of opposite genders merely adhere to heavily instilled stereotypes, which is saddening. Of course, this is also expected given the high standards of beauty for males and females in Korea....😥
She’s says that but the shape of male models is extremely important and the amount of harassment they get to be slimmer or more fit or to eat less is JUST stressful.
Yuju Waterbottle yes i guess...but only the cream of the crop, the lucky ones are mostly those who fit the ideal image of a male/female model. And like you said, with so many various body types for females, to expect one to fit one ideal size, is it not more of a sadder reality? with style being relatively more susceptible to change than given body shapes?
@@loveyuri7695 At the end of the day the fashion market is overwhelming female and regardless of whether you think its not true or not the reason why females models are judged for their body shapes is because women want that shape. Theres a reason why there arent fat guys demanding people to give them a job as a model and male models, even though they earned way less than their female counterparts, are still very tall and lean across the board. Its because on top of having "swag" the market (mostly women) still want guys to this prince charming with athletes body.

she's right. What they lack the most is a individual style. The difference between the older models and them is that they haven't yet figured out who they are exactly or what their image should be. Figuring out who they are will in return give them aura and confidence
Every question and criticism that the MCs have thrown at her she has responded with a logical explanation that it actually makes sense into why they do half the things

omg i'm not the only one! but then again, johnny really does have sharp features, a model like. and a tall height. i'm surprised he pursued career as idol rather than professional model
The 3 models really needed a makeover. As models they need to have the confidence to be trendsetters instead of followers. Also models are blank canvasses for designers so they need to be able to change their style to meet the needs of the designers they work with.
Getting the surprise-haircut was the greatest decision ever. 🤣🙌 When I always look to a guy I always started to look at their hair, like how neat their hair is and how it's styled. Then next is how they wear their clothes with style too 😄❤️
It must have been hard for the guys to suddenly change their hairstyle, but I think when you are modeling and walking down that runway, it's not about you - but about how well you present the clothes. The clothes are the main attraction while the models are the frames or canvas I guess of that work. Hence why LOL the makeup can be funky af during the shows. But yea, the boys def gave off more "i am a model" vibe after the hair change. Their original hairstyle was nice tho and made them look like normal korean guys.
I want to enter fashion industry too. But, as a fashion designer. Watching this makes me think of my models going down the runway with the clothes I'm going to make. This is niceu!!!
Came back here cuz uipyo just did a video with woobin and hong pyo is in joseon lawyer and many other famous shows now. Really happy to see they've done well for themselves
wow hair really changes a guy's look. all their haircuts brought out their cheekbones and changes up their facial expressions almost instantly. it's really true that hair can make or break a guy,
I like Hong Pyo better after the hair cut tho And I can sense a good leadership from the ceo actually, she has good intentions, but sometimes people accept it wrongly or uncomplete
I've never watched this but the one episode I decided to open has one of my favourite models in it, of course. Noma Han!! He makes almost everything he wears look good. I say almost, because of my personal preference, but he makes it work!
Omg so cute thooo, the boss wore the chain gold necklace she bought with her employees and changed her style to fit the look and she actually looks younger and more chic compared to her usual boss look 💕👊🏻👌
I got to experienced a manager who suddenly asked me if she is pretty or not. Me as an honest person, just answered that she looks ok, not pretty not ugly. And..... guess what... she has been on my case for 3 days straight and even sent me her photos through private message trying to prove that she is pretty. She annoy me with a statement "(my name)!!! I am pretty!" For whole day even after I told her to stop it, it's annoying, stressing me and embarrassing. But she is not stopping those harassment. This that happened and now I will be leaving my job in 2 weeks (pretty much forced because the choice is either stay and suffer mentally or lose job but freed from those harassment).
The CEO just took over her staff's assignment without notice. He probably spent a lot of time planning it out. She completely disregarded his work, therefore him. A good CEO respects his/her staff. That's how to get good work out of people.
I think CEO Kim is a wise woman who knows what she was doing. I mean the fact that they can eat together at the same table proved how she is a good boss.
Do you know if he's dating anyone ? I can't even find his basic profile :/ for e.g.. his birthday or age. Its sad that its hard to know anything about K-models.
15:19 honestly he looked really good maybe they should've stopped there already 👀getting rid of the distracting hair around the middle area of his head really opened everything up! but ig the final cut has that uniqueness and edginess that models have to standout
I think they shouldve kept hongpyo's bangs longer. The shaved sides was a good move but the bangs looked too short. Generally the haircuts turned out better than expected though
this is the first variety show without big cast or famous idol that i cant stop watching!

When I always look to a guy I always started to look at their hair, like how neat their hair is and how it's styled. Then next is how they wear their clothes with style too 😄❤️
The makeovers were AMAZING
no yeongtaek eyes smile is so adorable 🥺
Wtf I just fell in love with NOMA
wow they look so much better wth I need a transformation too TT
Hong Pyo looks way better with that hairstyle though ??? It highlighted his handsome chiseled face and damn !!!
I can't stop replaying this vid. Every time this vid in my recommendation, I can't help but to clicked it😂
Teacher Seonki is such a caring and empathetic person.
WOW the difference the haircut makes is amazing.
Never did I ever want to become a CEO until now. Seeing how badass CEO Kim is in her work. I love the power🔥!
Really happy to see they've done well for themselves
wow hair really changes a guy's look. all their haircuts brought out their cheekbones and changes up their facial expressions almost instantly. it's really true that hair can make or break a guy,
I like Hong Pyo better after the hair cut tho
And I can sense a good leadership from the ceo actually, she has good intentions, but sometimes people accept it wrongly or uncomplete
They actually look so much better with the haircuts!!!! Good move CEO Kim and Noma!
I think they looked much more better with the new cut it was super cool ❤
I really like the guy with the smiley eyes👌
Being a model is not all about the handsomeness or face ,its about how can you show the designer clothes on runway, etc
I've never watched this but the one episode I decided to open has one of my favourite models in it, of course. Noma Han!! He makes almost everything he wears look good. I say almost, because of my personal preference, but he makes it work!
Seongki is like the voice of and for the people!! Can already tell these guys have taken a liking to him
Noma's presence was essential here. Playing the nice cop. Good words. Wise words.
@08:46 Can't believe there's Pentatonix here!!!
15:08 21:56 lol love this guy’s personality
@13:25 great advice about finding your own personal style
Ngl those haircuts is really good. Suits them well
They are all handsome but yep, they totally look way better after the makeover. I love them ❤❤❤
Noma's smile is so cute
I’ve never been so early in ma life-
Goosebumps, the guy in jacket looks like my younger brother hahaha
Omg so cute thooo, the boss wore the chain gold necklace she bought with her employees and changed her style to fit the look and she actually looks younger and more chic compared to her usual boss look 💕👊🏻👌
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! CEO KIM IS SO PRETTY AND FUNNY
I'm honestly vibing with Noma. I like his taste.
The CEO just took over her staff's assignment without notice. He probably spent a lot of time planning it out. She completely disregarded his work, therefore him. A good CEO respects his/her staff. That's how to get good work out of people.
I think CEO Kim is a wise woman who knows what she was doing. I mean the fact that they can eat together at the same table proved how she is a good boss.
yeong taek (the guy in 16:12) looks so sportyyy he's my style! and maybe just for me but kinda resembles young coach hyun a bit hahahajsjs
No is so cute. When he smiles his eyes. 😍😍😍
Do you know if he's dating anyone ? I can't even find his basic profile :/ for e.g.. his birthday or age. Its sad that its hard to know anything about K-models.
I respect her passion 👏👏👏
Hong Pyo transformation is wow😍
Noma and Seongki are both so kind and handsome ❤❤
15:19 honestly he looked really good maybe they should've stopped there already 👀getting rid of the distracting hair around the middle area of his head really opened everything up! but ig the final cut has that uniqueness and edginess that models have to standout
I think they shouldve kept hongpyo's bangs longer. The shaved sides was a good move but the bangs looked too short.
Generally the haircuts turned out better than expected though
