  • On the daily, we are all needing to cope and manage with stressors. This in unconscious and conscious ways. Sometimes we choose really healthy and productive coping skills to manage our thoughts and feelings. Sometimes we choose more of the impulsive or destructive ways of coping managing. This video explains why we do that and how to break the habit.
A lot of it has to do with self-esteem. How we feel about ourselves a lot in terms of how we take care of ourselves and our feelings. This video helps to explain step-by-step, how to reframe, break old habits and create new healthy ways coping. We all do it, so we all may as well learn better ways of going about it!

In therapy I use a combination of empirically validated and researched techniques for the treatment of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and treatment of eating disorders. The ideas from my videos are frequently adapted from multiple sources and are used in my own practice with my clients. Many of these techniques come from the founder of Brainspotting, David Grand, and from the work of EMDR creator and founder, Francine Shapiro. I am also Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) certified, and have an additional certification in Fitness and Nutrition Coaching from National Exercise Sports Training Association.
