Highlights from the Armed Forces Day 2024 at the popular holiday resort of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
Scarborough is a very historic seaside resort in England and is blessed with some stunning landmarks and views including the castle and pretty harbour/marina, which makes it a very attractive venue.
This is one of the largest AFD events in the country, and this year features a display from the RAF Typhoon fighter jet, specially painted in a historic D-day colour scheme representative of a Hawker Typhoon in WWII, flown by David Turnbull of 29 Sqn. based at RAF Coningsby.
