3 Aug 24 Worked with Lumia 730, took more than one hour. Will use it for the next 2 weeks until my new phone arrives
Damn , i forgot to remove sim card. Update 48of200 seem taking ages. All done now and it works. Lumia 640 lte and win 10. Big thanks for you

After removing the sim and deleteing wifi settings, this worked like a charm, thanks a bunch!
tysm, I tried to update my phone with so many tutorials, but none of them worked.
If this worked before, it doesn't now, l followed all the steps, did a hard reset which took forever, finally went into settings about phone and it's still 8.1 update 2, now I'm left wondering where all the files went that was downloaded to the phone.

on a lumia 830, it says "the update was downloaded but couldnt be opened" idk what to do, ive even tried the recovery software but its not reading it, the phone is with att.
I'm not sure if this over the cable update works for other variance of the Lumia, I would strongly recommend looking for another tutorials for that phone it's self.

Microsoft has deleted the WDRT data from the servers , when you try to install it , you have an error. It's too disgusting , I have a dead Lumia 630 in what USB bulk. Only with WDRT I could repair
Download WP internals and do a factory reset there.

@@nimeni_in_drum Great to hear it worked on your phone too, probably a week after I updated it it got normal updates from Microsoft and then I could log into the store. I downloaded Spotify and Mytube! Apart from that I just updated the default apps.
@@overheadtv420 for me also works the update although it always says it is up to date. my problem is the browser which is v38 and I cannot find a newer one. no whatsapp found either.
