Your vlogs were so helpful for us! We had an amazing weekend in Edinburgh based on what you recommended! Really appreciate your work, keep it up, thank you!
Love this video and definitely make some more! I’d also love to see a video on the coolest or most charming neighborhoods in the Edinburgh area.
I can't wait to get back and start checking these places out.
I wish to go to university there, will surely check out all these places if I get in.
Really lovely informative video. Visiting Edinburgh in April. Very excited x
Wow! I love your Talent of putting it all together with your happiness, pics during your talk explaining the wonderful experience you can have. Thank you for sharing your video.
I grew up near Edinburgh and lived there for a while, and still live nearby and you've given me a few places I'd never even heard of, like the Western st and the Kyoto-Edinburgh friendship garden, thanks!
Thank-q so much for the video. Always recommending great places to go
Always enjoy your videos- - Will keep these places in mind for my next visit to Edinburgh 😊
Love it. Thank you. Back home in South Africa. Feel quite homesick re Edinburgh!
Great list and definitely some places we need to try on our next trip
this video reminded me of Edinburgh life few years ago :) Miss all the stuffs there !!! thank you for making amazing video to share :)
Breakfast in Edinburgh sounds amazing! Great vid!
Bacon and poached egg pancakes for b'fast followed by a bucket of Hungarian stew for dinner? My kind of food. Excellent vid.
This video (ok tbh, KAt, ALL of your videos) make me miss my favourite city even more. My heart literally sings and hurts like hell at the same time when I dream myself away *insertheartbreakingsoundhere* Thank you so much for your videos, I LOVE THEM, could listen/watch them all day!!!
Great video.
I would add Salt, a cafe bistro on Morningside road, near Holy Corner. Excellent food, coffee, and atmosphere.
Thanks for the tip! I've walked around it couple of times but never actually went!
Can’t wait to go there next month.
Amazing video again!
Cool, I didn't know about the herb garden or the western street in Marchmont.
The 'western street' is a short stretch up a sidestreet down near the bottom of the hill in Morningside, not Marchmont.
great vlog love your editing.
AMAZINGGGGGGG! Where did you get your little cute mic from btw? LOVE it and this video!! x
Very nice video if there are some quieter spots you want to visit outside the city. I never knew that Lauriston was so close to the city center. Will have to add it to my list next time.
The rest of the pins on your lapels, are they all your own designs? Enjoy Japan!
I also see what looks to be a significant increase in your subscribers, congratulations!
I wait for your videos like I wait for my favorite TV show!
Oh boy that's just the best compliment !!! ♥️
I really enjoyed the video. All your Edinburgh vlogs make me want to there even more! Thanks for sharing with us.
Many thanks for all the fantastic tips over the years , love your enthusiasm in every video , the presentation is so personable and you speak better English than i do !!. I share your interest in finding places in Scotland and Edinburgh in particular that are quirky and unusual that most visitors and even locals are unaware of , i also must visit Prague , especially after your recommendations , there is no more excuse for me with so many direct flights !. Enjoy your visit to Japan , it is the most amazing combination of ancient traditions and modern technology along with very polite and friendly people.
Thank You for the Hungarian part of this video! Köszönöm! 😉
I'm moving there soon. I hope these places are still around. Great video, thanks!
The Edinburgh City Council did a good job helping local businesses stay stable, at least for the first couple of months - so if things don't get any worse from now on I believe these should all stick around - fingers crossed! Oh and good luck with you move!
@@Kakibot Thank you!
Anyhoo... I love you!
Your hair looks lovely!
OMG, thank you so much for this video, I can't wait to go and try out the Hungarian place!
Aaaaa nooo I’m so sorry, that place had closed down at the start of the pandemic 🥲
@@Kakibot, hello, sent here from Natasha and Debbie. have subbed.
🙋♀️ Lauriston Castle 💕 Suggestion...Starbank Park 😊.
Heading to Edinburgh in a few weeks and just saw that the dim sum place is literally around the corner from my Airbnb so will definitely be trying!
Fingers crossed it's still around - they've been opening and closing throughout the past couple of years but I haven't heard about them closing again from what I can remember!
There is a new Hungarian (I think) cafe at the foot of the (Leith) walk called Puffyns Cakes. Not sure how authentic it is, but they serve Galushka so may be worth a try?
I am moving to Edinburgh from Texas in September, your videos have very much helped calm my nerves🖤😬
Awww I'm glad to hear that! It's very very chill over here, living in Edinburgh is like walking around wearing a soft blanket at all times .D
Were you able to move during the pandemic? I’m retiring soon and would love to move to Scotland.
how did you do this! 😭 i want to move there so badly! also from texas ❤
Let's goooooo .D
Seriously, I must have said 'WE NEED TO BRING MERETE HERE' about 74 times during our visit to the Secret Herb Garden!
You should check out The Walnut on Leith Walk. It’s definitely a hidden gem!
Thank you! I've heard a lot of good things about it, putting it on my list!
Yummy
Thank you for your video!
I just got my offer letter for Edinburgh Napier university:)
I’ll be moving next year from the U.S
Congrats!!! What are you coming over to study? .)
Cyber security and forensics!
I’ll be in Edinburgh to visit for a few days after the new year. I’ll be the black dude with all the Harry Potter clothes on so don’t judge me!😂
@@kevinyancey1962 I WOULD NEVER!!! Also that sounds like a really cool course! (Napier teaches the neatest things to the neatest people!)
If you are still here go to Bibi's bakery (just off princes street) and Bells Diner(stockbridge, you need to phone and reserve, it's not posh or expensive just busy). Thank me later.
for Hungarian food I go to Budapest - where is the place with the best haggis? :P
Fantastic video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it! .)
I stay very near to that Hungarian restaurant. I wish to try and definitely try the dessert. What do u suggest as on food? I eat everything, if food tastes good, I will eat it.
Loved ur video
Aaaah I'm afraid Magna Hungaria closed down during the pandemic ;___; but that area in general is nice for finding food gems! Like the quite recently opened taco place, Taco Libre!!
@@Kakibot Yeah, it's closed now. I hope it opens soon..other places, Asian, Scott, Brit are done..😊
What to order once it opens?

Gotten used to her vocal gymnastics and even like the tone of her almost imperceptible Scottish burr over dulcet eastern European gushing. In a thoroughly nice way.
Content ss usual is informative even for a Scottish casual Immigrant to England.

Bridge end farm house and allotments close by.
Stack Dim Sum bar closed again😢
Noooo 😭 it’s a real rollercoaster with that place! Do you know if they closed for good this time or if they just laying low while the trams are being built?
@@Kakibot no, they are really really closed this time!
