I feel so bad for that Lucia.
Same. I even went through it in training mode and tried to see if it could be optimized into a kill but no luck. I tried all the corner routes I could think of and the best I could do was 5 more damage than the Lucia got in the video, but Oro still lived.
Edit: I found a kill, but it depends on what move Brian took chip damage from before the clip started.
@@matthewpelletier6900 just for you I went back and checked. Brian took chip from just the second hit of a move where lucia kicks twice and says "one, two!" It looks a lot like Akuma 6HK but I don't know what it is - even Brian says, "what was THAT move" lmao.

5:33 As a Lucia main, I knew that wouldn't kill. Lucia is literally better off doing 3 EXs than doing her super. It does criminally low damage, which is kind of funny for someone who is a cop. I want her to come back in SF6, but, Capcom, please give her a good super
In some cases spending triple EX can get you more/comparable damage to super, but with all the scaling on that combo plus not being in VT1, there's no way doing triple EX would've gotten her more damage.
I ran the combo in training mode after watching this, and with slightly more optimal routing, it could have been a kill depending on the move Brian took chip from before the clip started.

FANG is truly my newcomer of SFV. Say all you want, but without him, Shadaloo wouldn't be a threat without him and was the redeeming aspect of the Story Mode
Rashid and F.A.N.G. were the true hero/villain of the story. Absolutely carried.
Hmm... Maybe if they didnt make him as much of a simp for bison he would have been taken more seriously. He seemed way too much like the comic relief and that for me just made him as annoying as a character.

As a person who has a good friend that plays F.A.N.G (even tho we're both beginners). He's the most tricky character my friend plays in any game. As Ibuki or Kage, I have to deal with poison ball traps, that stupid prone kick, and that EX Slide that seems to get him out of everything I do
I mention the beginner part because that just adds to my struggles fighting this weird ass character

I stopped playing lucia but that was 100% her fault, her fireballs aren't made to hold up for fireball wars.

@@BlindedMan theres not much you can do other than calculated jumps and walk and block. She is a very pressure heavy character but her buttons are stubby so really you either have to rush oro down or do a hail mary. But I stopped playing her so I'm not entirely sure what else she could really do.
Edit: I watched it again, he proably could've slid into ex heavy fireball but you have to be at that mid range where itll go under his fireball and hit him. Again I dont play her anymore, chakotay or aigoo would have a definitive answer to this.

zoning in games like these are the worst... inptus are never difficult enough for the advantage they offer.
Every time that Brian is updating the spread sheet I get confuse with the date, why does Americans use mm/dd/yyyy? It doesn't make any sense, dd/mm/yyyy is from the small to the big one
It's put on paper the same way we tell the date. 5/4/23. As in May 4th 2023. It's not that perplexing or dumb, it's just different

I actually really like fang. I'm in the minority on that one lol. But I dont think he is as weak as many say. I'm only a gold player, and I can see he has a few bad match ups. But for some characters like Cammy, Balrog, Rashid, and Alex especially I feel I do better with fang than my main Akuma
I haven't played SF5 in about a year. But I was a FANG main. This video makes remember the good ol times giving people that gray life. Looking forward to AKI in SF6.
