    Great video. I have Fusilade II and Triclopyr Ester, the latter I discovered watching one of your videos years ago. Would either take care of Bermuda grass overtaking the succulent flowerbed?

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  Год назад

      The fusillade ii is the same active ingredient as the ortho grass b gon. If you’re diligently using it every 4 weeks it’ll do well

  • @scottsmith5048
    @scottsmith5048 Год назад +6

    Fluazifop-P-butyl is the active ingredient in that product, it is sold in a concentrate form by a few brand names, including Fusilade II. I also agree with the other commentor, I would drop some Prodiamine 65 WDG to prevent a reoccurrence.

    Do the neighbors not understand they violated some property laws when they put that fence up where they put it?

    • @pestandlawnginja

      Not optimistic since I can’t find it as a target weed on this label and others using the same active ingredient

  • @TheDesertRat31

    Nice. I have Bermuda invading my bed with creeping juniper. The label says nit to spray over the leaves/needles. So I guess that means i need to spread an opening in the juniper canopy and spray the grass around the stems.

    What is the name of the chemical. The generic name. Or scientific name. I know it's grass b gon. Looking for the generic, maybe it's cheaper.

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  Год назад

      the cheapest you'll find is in a pro sumer bottle called fussilade ii. you'll have to add water to it and mix it properly.

    Common Bermuda grass takes over all my flowerbeds. Even Glyphosate doesn’t kill that stuff; it always grows back. ☠️
    I’ve heard Ornamac and Fusillade II aren’t much better and have a short interval for retreatment.

    😮😮 I had a neighbor to put up a privacy fence.. Between my fence chain link and their privacy. It's a problem every year.😮😮.. On that one side I took my chain link fence down.. So it worked out to the better like you.. I killed all the grass on that one Edge of grass. .😅😅.. I thank you for your knowledge you motivated me to keep my grass green..

    You mentioned this is something you will have to do regularly with the spray. What is a more permanent fix for stopping Bermuda from creeping into my flower beds or getting rid of the Bermuda forever? My boxwood and other perennials are sprouting Bermuda grass too :(

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  Год назад

      You’d need to put a boarder board that would be about 6-8” deep then be sure you’re constantly edging the area to keep it out. This spray works well for what it is

    Greetings Ginja from the Cayman Islands I would like to know if there is any type of herbicide that can control the weeds in the plant beds without affecting them that only kills the bush and does not damage the plants

    • @pestandlawnginja
      @pestandlawnginja  Год назад

      Love the Cayman Islands! Only had the please one time! Hard to find any product that will kill weeds only in plant beds. Commonly best to pull the weeds then apply a product like preen or snapshot as a pre emergent which will help prevent more from coming
