Amy Lee was strongly against it as she didn't want the band to be labeled as "female Linkin Park". They compromised and on their first single featured a "male rapper" was bring me to life. She wrote Paul's verse. Just goes to show you how out of touch labels can be. Paul is certainly not a rapper whatsoever and I wouldn't consider 12 Stones to be anything close to nu-metal. They definitely got the shitty end of that stick.

I heard them 1st in a Christian youth group & it was SO empowering! I fear this was low key an early breakup because the want/fear of breaking into mainstream caused separation. Either way, It's never too late to bring a comeback & times have changed! It's a new day and an inviting day for a resurrection!
