John was honoured to sing with Ray Charles because John never saw himself as a great performer. Many came to Australia and toured with him and he can connect with anyone. I am so Blessed to have John in my lifetime.
When I was a girl my first crush was Ray Charles. We didn’t have a TV and I didn’t know how he looked. I did know how he sang to me on the radio and I was taught all people are the same so when I finally saw a picture of him I didn’t even notice he was a different colour. So were all of my friends and that was normal.
John probably still doesn’t know just what a legend he is and he deserves to. He is loved by other legends around the world.

I've just being checking out a great 1980 TV clip, John Farnham with Sammy Davis Jnr on the Don Lane Show. Also his duet with Tom Jones on Hey Hey It's Saturday is legendary. Olivia Newton John said the one person she wanted to sing with most was John Farnham. John is very admired by by many international legends. He's incredible.

Love seeing your faces during this. ❤❤ They say he doesn't even need a mic at times - his power is sooo good. Johns backing vocalists did so well too. Thanks guys. ❤❤

Still fascinates me, how on earth did we, sorta, keep John hidden here in Aus for so many years? I remember Covid hit, we all got on RUclips and the world of music and performers became closer to everyone.

Honestly John really doesn't need a microphone. His voice r is so loud and powerful. I remeber one telethon back in the 70's and John's natural voice was louder than the speakers.

Kylie Minogue and Anthony Warlowe were there too. Earlier it was John who went backstage and brought mr Charles out to the piano. This was a casino opening.

I meant to tell you the ear pieces they were using were such high quality that they lose their spatial awareness when they close their eyes and the night before in rehearsals John actually just walked off the stage and fell across a chair and was only inches away from breaking his back. He does ride horses and has cattle so he is used to rough riding 😂😂

Thousand Yard Stare is Shell Shock, or just really severe Shock in general.
You see it in lots of war photo's of people returning. You also see it on people and especially small children that get lost in the wilderness for days on end.
They are found with eyes, absurdly wide open from the sheer terror that they endured while lost and not knowing what to do.

That was a brilliant performance. One to listen to (there is no visual) is John singing Led Zeppelin's - Black Dog. We are forever blessed that the sound guy decided to press 'record' before John and his band performed a 'Warm up' song. Epic - IMO better than the original!

That one hasn't been blocked but it still has a copyright on it, should be solved by the 24th
The full process can take up to 1 month and 1 week, I prefer to get that process out of the way before making the video public because a few times I've made a video public only to have to take it down afterwards 😔
