Thank you for these tutorials man, they are simple yet super useful. As someone that’s kinda struggling with TD, i really appreciate what you’re doing. Keep it up
This is exactly what I needed, thanks so much!!
Awesome! Really like the direct apprach, other folks would spend 15 minutes on a video for this ;P
thanks for this! I was able to utilize TouchOSC rather than a keyboard and it is working flawlessly!
how did you get this to work?
Your background music is 10db louder than your voice. Do you have a mixer for that as well? 😬
Lol, I'm working on it :D
wow love this massive content under less than three minutes.
that is so brilliant
Thank you for the tutorial! I'm a newbie so maybe its a stupid question, but if i have sound in the videos, how can i make it audible?
Thank you, I'm just starting with TD and wanted a simple way to start building the video mixer part of my project 🙌 sweet..
Thanks for this! By the way my TD freezes with just an empty project and 4 40-50 MB mp4s... I'm running it on an RTX 3070 / i7-12700H laptop. Has anyone had this issue before?
thank you that's realy good and fast
Super usefull again, been learning a lot from this serie ! Thank you
This is cool. I used a second logic/filter combo off of the keyboard in to start/stop/reset the vids as well as fade in/out the audio. Thanks!
Amazing Lesson Tutorial, once more amazing amazing - I have just made my self an 10channel cross-fade video mixer .TOX, with adjustable cross-fade speed float, in Controls section of the .TOX itself wow ❤I was previously subscribed to your channel - jet the youtube recommended your video to me, on my youtube feed screen to watch. Much Obliged !
Great tutorial!
Great video! If I wanted to just use one button instead of 5 buttons to switch between the videos, how would that change the layout?
Hi :) Is there a way to create a folder of images that cross-fade like this but in a random way? If I have 100+ photos it's not practical to have all of them on the patch, It would be really nice to have a folder. It can be done in touchdesigner?
I have the same question
@@jmgsb does any of you figure this out?
Is there a good way to do something like have multiple folders of videos you're mixing between with a video selected per folder?
dope, thanks
I'm getting an error when I connect the null to the cross(at 1:26) I cant seem to find how you got the popup menu and changed to CHOP Reference. Has something changed or am I missing a hotkey? Thanks for any help.
same problem here
ok got :) just click exactly like shown in the video.. you have to slow the video down..
perfect
Hey bro a small request, how can I do exactly this by a microphone input in touch Designer? Need a tutorial for it. Or to contact you, i tried to do audiodevice_in and i know that some kind of 'math' is needed, can you help me this?
Hey man great tutorial , I am kinda new with TD, but super excited. Can SDI INPUT from black magic be switched with audio. If yes any hints
HEY! how could I change the videos randomly?
Thank you so much for this! Super useful -- I'm trying to do this with TouchOSC and the transition no longer smoothly crossfades even when I adjust the filter.. I wonder if maybe the filter needs to be moved to a different place in the network? I currently have it after the Count CHOP as per your tutorial.
Did you figure it out?
@@secretvanush No, I think there’s something with the way the OSC data is received that doesn’t allow for a smooth transition with this particular node architecture.
wow! i always go first way) haha
please make more!!!!
clever
Hey, thanks for video. How to do this but also have the audio switched with the video ?
There are switch and cross operators in the CHOP family, so you can recreate the whole thing for CHOPs to use with multiple audio file/device in operators
@@noonesimg Thank you i got it working with synchronized audio now!
what are the numbers changing to...? Nothing corresponds to the moviefileIns
Hitting the keys seems to just be completely random
@Sonny O'Brien the number of the key 1-5 corresponds to videos 1-5. If it's not like that, probably, check the order in which movie file ins are connected and that the order is the same for both switches. Also, the Fan CHOP, when set to Fan In should give you the number of the channel that is active.
Ahah awesome
