Little update: The Nomatic 25L Everyday bag held all my stuff during the Vietnam trip (1x camera, two lenses, Molux X60 light, 16inch MBP, charger, cables, etc. & clothes for 4 days - no drone!). But it was extremely tight, had to push it together to close the zippers. So for most people, this bag will likely do well, especially if you also have a checked-in bag.
But as I prefer one bag only, I also ordered the Wandrd Prvke 21L for that rolltop. The 16-inch MBP fits a bit better as expected (slightly less tight as in the Prvke light) but it's still tight and I cut the camera cube on all 4 edges with a scissor to allow for more stretch to fit all my gear - the cube is usually too small. With this modification, it's the best bag for me. I'd still prefer having the same internal design as the Prvke Light for more space and less weight though.

have a Shimoda Action X50 (v1), which I loved, but stopped using because it's too heavy, and the back panel makes me sweat a lot. Now, I'm using the Manfrotto ProLight Backloader Small, which is about 20L, relatively lightweight, and has a very nice design. I highly recommend it for city use and day hikes. However, I'm searching for a 30L backpack that isn't too heavy, but it seems all of them are around 2kg, which is too much for my liking.

I tested the Gomatic Peter McKinnon 25L (Im pretty sure it's the same thing) and while I love the design, there's a glaring omission that makes it a non-started (and frankly makes me wonder how it keeps ending up in all top backpac lists): no camera quick access! There's no way to get to the camera stuff without putting it down and opening it all the way. Still search for something around the 24-25L mark that ticks all the boxes and right now the PeakDesign everyday Zip comes close but still small.

I have the WANDRD Prvke 31L and the WANDRD Prvke Lite. When I worry about my carry-on luggage being weighed at the check-in desk or at the gate (which happens quite often because I'm a short 160 cm female) I like that the WANDRD Prvke 31L has a camera cube that I can take out, and carry as my personal item. Then all the heavy camera gear is not weighed, and in worst case scenario, if I'm forced to check my backpack at the gate, I can still take my camera on board with me in the cube as a personal item, which fits well under the seat in front of me.
I use the WANDRD Prvke Lite when I pack less, but I always make sure to keep within the carry-on weight limit then because I cannot take out a cube and carry-on in case my backpack is considered to be too heavy. I love both bags. They're awesome and super comfortable.

Shimoda bags are amazing. Alittle heavier but with the straps and internal frame it carries really comfortable and light. The Explore v2 is my go to outdoor/travel bag

The main problem of Wandrd Prvke is you don't really have any middle pockets. Imagine something like a battery charger - unless you just shove it in the main compartment you're out of luck.

Just a thought… I bought the “Rotor Riot” backpack.
Design3d by Sean, it is just incredible!
Made for FPV, it still works great for camera drones and photography gear.

Just 2 cents on a couple of bags I also tried: Nomatic 25 has no quick access to the camera. You need to set it down in the dirt and operate the backpack. Nope. PeakDesign Everyday 30 L - it's actually 22L. You can extend it by lifting the magnetic clip but if you do so, it loses the weather sealing as "holes" open up on either side as the top lifts. I like the PD systems but for the price, this bag is ..... bad IMHO. Cut the price in half and might be worth it, unless you plan to top it up on a trek.

Just wanted to give a heads up the noise cancelling filter used on the audio track is pretty overdone. It's easy to hear weird little artifacts or something, at least to me. Good video!

It seems like we carry pretty much the same amount and size of gear for the most part. I've been looking for a bag that most accommodates my needs. My biggest issues is that I'm wanting a 20lish camera bag that will fit my 16inch laptop that has full and side access. Pretty slim pickings with those needs. I'm glad you made this video. I ended up buying the nomadic luma bag for my everyday carry. I pack it out with what I need for the day or weekend, and then I have a larger bag I keep the rest of my gear in and pack out my everyday bag from as needed. Its the most practical solution for me at the moment. The luma bag fits perfectly under an airplane seat. Huge plus since I fly to Germany often and I hate using overhead bins. Thanks for the video. I've been watching you for years at this point.

Amazing review. Have you found a better bag than your first pick of the Wandrd Prvke 21L yet?

Great video as always. I’m amazed that for travel you don’t get a 14in MacBook Pro!🙏

Had one before but the screen is just too small. 16inch is so much better for video editing.

Given there are so many bags on the market today and always coming out... there is no one perfect camera bag LOL.... TBH, it's a bit surprising (The Prvke really needs to be deeper to be more functional)

I use the Pgytech Onemo2 backpack 25L version. It's an amazing backpack.
The 35L version even has a top access. Both backpacks come with a slingbag included.
Even my 17.3 " laptop fits inside, and it has a reasonable price

Thank you Pascal, your insights on usage are very interesting.
I have a Lowepro 125 which is too small for me, especially when trying to fit the gimbal (even though I use a small one, the Ronin RS3 Mini).
I got a bigger one for when I travel by plane and need to carry all the gear in the cabin, the Pgytech One MO, excellent backpack but very heavy, it's about 2 kg empty. Fortunately, they have never weighed that backpack for me to fly because it always goes above the limit.
I'm looking for something medium-sized but that allows me to transport the gimbal without unbalancing it.
Any recommendations? I'm a not very tall woman, size does matter to me. 😄

Hey man, loved this video and subscribed. I am a moto vlogger on my other channel and I carry the Mavic Pro 3 Cine, FX3 and heaps of lenses and 16 inch macbook and RS4 Gimbal. What would you recommend with all this gear! I get sore back from my army days so I have to have support. Any help would be awesome. Thank you
