After 45 years of experience, the two best ways to carry a Camera are either in your hand without any kind of strap and/or in a bag !
Haha I love that! Whatever works for you is best for sure! I like that first one (in the hand) but I find the second one (in the bag) actually stops me from using the camera... or it makes me miss the moment. So I like to have my camera out and ready... but handsfree makes life easier too. Each their own!
@@dunnadidit Well, I always carry TWO Cameras, one in my hand and the other one in my bag, one Camera with a wide angle prime Lens and the other with a short tele prime Lens.
Now I just wish someone would come out with a clip that allowed me to leave my L-Bracket on my camera and use that as the mounting option instead. 📸😎
I mean... you could get the Three Legged Thing L-bracket with the peak design plate on the bottom... that VERY LOOSELY solves your problem haha.

LOL I have one and they're great but it's not really any different than screwing a baseplate onto my L-bracket except I can never take it off haha.
You can attach the anchors to the capture clip's bottom plate directly. With the attached anchors, you can still put it in the capture clip and in a tripod
I kind of agree and kind of disagree. That definitely helps the camera to sit nicer against the body like what I showed in the final setup... But I tried it like that for a long time and found that about 70% of the time, the anchors got in the way of working with the tripod. Especially if you use a quick release clip for a tripod like I do. It wasn't so bad with a typical arca swiss head but anything else was problematic.
@@dunnadidit I have no problems with my non-quick-release tripod :) but I can totally imagine there will be issues with many
100% depends on the style of the head... for a "standardized" thing, arca-swiss seems to be kind of all over the place haha. Glad your method is working for you though... if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
