    Hey pal, love the way you teach.
    Very clear and I like that you give all the benefits and negatives of all the options (and you already know your audience lol). You also have great penmanship.
    I hope your stocks are doing well! Thank you for making this video and sharing some of your knowledge.

    If I buy stock through one broker, do those stocks stay with that broker or do they follow me if I decide to switch brokers at a later date? If they follow me, is there a specific process to make that change? Love the videos and teaching style btw!

    I think Trading 212 is the best stock broker. What do you think? Do you trade with Trading 212? And do you know how I can open a real trading account at 15 years old? I "make" (for my age) decent money on my demo account.

      While Scottrade has offices and a bank...they are mostly to help you open an account, deposit checks and give basic advice on different investments. Overall, basic stuff unlike a Full Service that can get into alternate investments and wealth management.

    Most "full service" brokers ( atleast in my country) have little clue about the Real stock market, and most of the times they tell you, what they are told ( by their super bosses) to tell their customers. They are typically very junior folks just passing calls. The Good and big brokers never touch retail customers, unless your portfolio is massive. Thus, is better to go with a discount broker and research yourself if you really want to operate in the stock market.

    Hi Sasha. Great insights you have there. Just a quick one. I'm new to trading. I've realised the spread varies with the broker. Of you want to execute a trade at a given price. It's always higher or lower than the entry point you really wanted. Thus has resulted in me losing money especially when I want to cover my shorts.

Now this has been through a virtual trader app on my phone. There is an app I got which does it for real though. My question is. If I used the same tactics and planning in the real thing as I have in the virtual one would I make just as much money?

      That's cool man. I'm 18. Been trading for a year now with real money. Keep it up man! You should learn about options. More capital efficient than stock in my opinion. And you could make money regardless of where the stock goes IF you take the time to learn the concepts and fundamentals.
      Good luck to you man!

    • @MrKing98100
      @MrKing98100 7 лет назад

      I trade options man. Mainly sell them. I like using the insurance business as an example. They're taking all the risk by selling you insurance. You pay them monthly for any "catastrophic" event. But at the end of the day, who will always end up making more money? You (the buyer of insurance [in this case options]) or the business who sells you the insurance (the option seller)?

      I've been successful doing this. Yes. It's obviously more involved that how I explained it. But just to explain the concept, I kept it simple. Trading isn't something that's gonna make you millions quickly. Have realistic expectations. It's about consistency in returns.
      And the broker I use is tastyworks. They charge only $1 per option, and to close ANY trade it's free, no commission. Their software platform is really good, fast, and easy to use. I like it a lot.

    • @090petre
      @090petre 8 лет назад

      +Nico Polo You need to have a broker so you can access the market regardless if you trade on your own or somebody else trades for you. The broker will provide you with a trading platform usually so this way you'll have all the tools to make the trade.
      The way to go around that, might be to buy shares directly with the company.
      Hope that's clear enough and please guys, correct me if I'm wrong here!

    Scottrade besides poor execution, has hefty fees for money transfers to a bank, if you order a check, it's free, but it can take up to 2 weeks, even transfers between Scott accounts have been slow to the point that if I don't call them, I would still be waiting it it's consistent and not only one time issues. TDA is buying Scott, I'm so glad since TDA has been almost flawless in executions for me, that even exceeded my limit or MO price, and that shows the value and quality of a good on line broker.
