Steam on ChromeOS Flex - Complete, Updated and Easy Install Instructions

I have revamped and updated my guide to installing Steam on Chrome OS Flex (should work on regular Chromebooks as well). This method uses Flatpak for an easy install. This tutorial will take you from the very beginning to running Steam.

I normally dont comment but THANK YOU! Chrome OS is a pain. This was easy to follow. 👍 But one question, how do you actually play games? Whenever i try to press play, it loads in for a few seconds but then it takes me right back to the home page.

if you don't see bios key at start screen go and find out how to get into UEFI/Bios with your motherboard/device manufacturer...

Thanks for this. Been adding a lot of applications to Flex in this way.
Is it possible to do a video or give advice about how to remove a package installed by Flatpack as I now want to remove a couple of the applications i've installed but dont know the best way to do this.

Tried it but when installing the flatpak I get a message in the terminal: steam needs a later flatpak version.
Linux. Just too many problems....

This is a great guide. Everything worked as you said but after installing some games both Windows and Linux natives, they don't work. Just say they're running but don't actually. Has anyone found a way around this?

You really don't need a sudo for flatpak installs.

С такой кучей переходников наверное лучше на старый ноутбук поставить какой-то lubuntu или mx linux. Чтобы пк уровня интел селерон / атом смог запустить скажем the binding of isaac
