- Today we are taking a look at the latest stable release of Chrome OS and ChromeOS Flex. I forgot to mention that on Chromebook Plus devices there are new AI related features, but tbh I don't care so much about those. I do have a Chromebook Plus device though and can test them if anyone is interested.

After 125 on my 2011 Macbook Pro i did see a noticeable improvement in "snappiness" basically the time it takes to boot up login and open Chrome has been improved quite well.
That's good to hear, I think Flex has really gotten solid over the last few months. I have been using Flex on this Beelink Mini PC as my main driver for about a month now with no issues at all.
@@BrandonStecklein Just stopping back to say that 126 seemed fine on the surface but has led to multiple system freezes over the last week or so. I moved to the 127 beta channel today hoping that will solve some of those issues... TBD...
Thanks for these updates, they are great! real value for me that would'nt be considering Chrome OS / Flex before your videos, really.
We went from 5.10 LTS to 6.6 LTS in M127.
If your Chromebook ain't a Plus version, it's just a small update. They got the AI stuff. It's usefulness is up for debate.
I am not exactly excited about all of this AI stuff, but I suppose some people are. In particular, it looks like Windows is really going over board with it.
You were great in Office Space
