- PRESS- UP HANDSTAND TIPS⬇️
How to do press-up handstand? Here’s my pro-tip:
Fall in love. You must be absolutely obsessed and want to spend all your time with it because no move that feels this good comes without putting in the time and effort. I can give you all my technical tips and drills but that 🔥you’ve got to find that within. Keep reading for more tips:
🙌🏼 Press-up handstand requires a different shoulder placement than regular handstand. The shoulders start PAST the wrists. That means your wrists are beyond normal range. So condition your wrists and practice holding crane pose💪🏼😅
🙌🏼 Press up requires you to push strongly through your shoulders on the way up, once your hips get past 90 degrees then you’ll need to do what feels impossible which is to push the shoulders open to stack over your wrists while you’re balancing on your hands!! So build shoulder stability and stretch those shoulders too💪🏼
🙌🏼 press-up requires front core stength and hip flexors at the beginning until again the hips are in a 90 degree angle, so you’ll need strong glutes and back core muscles to pull the legs all the way to straight handstand.

Press HS is just one of the coolest things a human can do. Awesome video
Ага, только сделано не так хорошо как могло быть,да и по этому уроку научиться сложно
Есть на много проще способы
@@sofia_vlasovawhat’s the easier way?
Or an arieal omg
Thats not a press its a straddle to handstand.
A planche is more impressive
Thanks for being realistic and showing us that doing tricks like that take time and effort.
Realistic, well, yeah... but she's got her full pancake stretch/side split; those alone take forever to master (as an adult). 😅
Helped with my handstand 😅
Just in a short video, this girl managed successfully to break down one of the hardest skills in simple and doable steps. New subscriber.
Thank you so much!!
This helped me so much! I liked ❤
It’s the flexibility part that I struggle with
I need to try these, thank you for sharing!!

if you can do a kick up, do negatives. from handstand to straddle hold.
You guys can’t complain you can’t do something if you haven’t put in the work I’ve been there I’ve felt that when I couldn’t do a back handspring I was sad but I never put in the work then I put in 10+ hours of work and now I have a really pretty backhand spring just remember keep working
@CathyMadeoYoga please share which blocks you used in this video, I’d love to get some! Thanjs
I learned this in thirty seconds
What's this song? I'm really enjoying this
Wowww!! Could a bigger person do these/do a handstand? Or would it be too much for my wrists?
Where is the description box located? I think I’m the only person who has trouble finding it. Is it located under the RUclipsr name?
Can u post a video to Gain core and strength?
Check out Lotte Berk.
From all of her teachings I broke it down to 3 steps.
1: Pinch a turtle as hard as possible and hold it. That muscle activates your entire back muscle system. Learn its maxim and minimums and keep it at 50% all the time.
2: With step 1 activated, put your Pelvis and hips at center. This means your legs should be in the middle of the socket, not to the back, front, left, or right. Center. This balances your entire vertical once you gain control of it.
3: With steps 1 and 2 active, raise your chest to center. Move your chest around, with your core activated using steps 1 and 2, up and down. Find the median and that is the 50% mark.
Once you find the 50% in all your activations, maintain that in absolutely all movement you do in life. Dont forget to find the 50% area for all other muscles in your body and good luck!
Respekt
Everytime I try to do something like that my parents scream at me so I can’t practice :(
Why????
@@haoqinggenius4335 because sometimes I fall and it makes a loud noise
Nah I think u can do it one day for sure
I tried it but I can only do it if I sorta jump with my back legs
My arms not being strong like: 👁👄👁 you do you BYE-
I'm also wondering what blocks you use? Or at least what's the dimensions as they look bigger than most I've seen.
You could also use books but they might not work as well, they’re yoga blocks
When I'm in the handstand my legs are tilted towards my right hand side. Can someone help me.
Does it takes lot of practice because I want to learn the press handstand I am actually a dancer not a gymnast.
Awesome. I really want to hand stand but always quit after few days 😭😭
If you're learning to handstand this is one of the harder ways to get into it. First, practice on the wall, then learn to kick up into it on the wall, and lastly learn to kick up and balance freestanding. Takes a lot of consistency but it's fun and well worth it
@@SixthSaberGaming thanks for advice!!!
@@NativeExplorer No problem!
@@SixthSaberGaming i broke my spine in a skydiving accident last week so no handstand for at least 3 months 😰😰
Will put it on my channel
@@NativeExplorer Oh shoot! I wish you well in your recovery my friend.
Do you must be able to do a split?

Her : oh I can do it in my breakfast
Us: her skin is ren 😂
I'm using this song for alarm clock for sure! :)
Step1. Do a handstand
There is a question: Does opening the pelvis make it longer?
Yes
This is not working I keep Falling
Good idea! I Will buy some clay bricks to help me!
Can a male do these exercises
Yes
Absolutely check out @saturnomovement :)
it is not clean, should work on it a little more
The damn pancake. That seems to be necessary ni matter how much strength you have. And that seems to also take years... Nothing is easy in calisthenics
I think you can do tuck press where it’s 100% shoulder strength (no pancake flexibility required!)
