I bought my mom an original bodyguard, but I can't let her see this, or she'll want an upgrade. As someone who has bought a lot of S&Ws, I prefer cardboard boxes because, at the end of the day, the firearm goes in a safe, and the box goes in the recycle bin.
Viable option for defense especially with the right defensive round. The 380 round is much more advanced then 10 years ago even at the 90 grains and hollow point configuration. Good pick summer. 😎
When I first shot mine compared to my Ruger LCP, night and day difference. I hate shooting my Ruger because of the snappiness. Shooting bodyguard 2.0, a world of difference, I was prepared for the snappiness, but it was crazy minimum for the size of that gun, the only thing I can say is go to the range and see for yourself… I immediately sold my Ruger and picked up a second one for my wife.
The .380 caliber is a very effective round ,the trigger is a self defense trigger, if the trigger is pulled you meant to pull it and it's an affordable Firearm ,great video, keep it strong, one for the Lady's
I guess I'm a lady then. Love mine. Disappears in my pocket with a pocket holster. About 200 rounds through mine and it is not the biggest fan of hollow points yet.
It reminds me of the Hellcat pro. Let us know how it shoots. I have a Hellcat Pro comped with the threaded barrel which took the snappiness out of it. And I’m late but this video just popped for me today.
Every woman in Atlanta & surrounding areas at the gun ranges women HATE this gun😂 Why because it sits on the same platform as a 9 mm….9/10 women I personally see in my profession carry the LCP 2 in 380. At 10oz & can be hidden in there panties 😂😂 And weight is 11.85 ounces, not 9.8oz and Khar & LCP’s in 380 are considerably smaller
I share your videos a lot on social media in hopes that women will protect themselves.. my question is 380 compared to 9mm I’m not sure how fast the 380 would stop an attacker compared to a 9mm especially with most people not going to practice 😭 which would you carry as a first time firearm owner female? My daughter edc is a 9mm that I gave her because I’ve heard bad things about dependability of 380
@@obaajao1991 I appreciate that! We definitely want to spread the word to our sistas so thank you again! My first gun was chambered in 380 and it ran but I didn’t like it so I switched to a 9mm. I just like how the 9mm shoots but I think the 380 caliber has come a long way and can be most women’s(and first time gun owner’s) first firearm caliber. Ultimately, it shoots softer for first time shooters which could be a one of the pros.
The 2.0is a game changer. You are going to be so surprised about the lack of recoil for such a lightweight pocket gun.
good choice! the SW bodyguard 2.0 is a great pistol, nice to see women who want to protect themselves.

I keep my “Baby Rock” nearby. Just love the way it fits 👀
Very informative, thank you.
Also you may discover cleaning the lint from the pistol's interior is needed more often.
Just an observation.
Very nice pistol i ran mine with fmj and Hornady 380 auto 90 gr xtp no issue. Very easy to shoot and great for concealed carry

Have you try the EZ ? The slide is like butter and it’s a 380 gun too.
@@arturomendoza6107 yep! That was my very first firearm. Very easy!
Wow, that’s small. Looks like it’s going to be snappy! Yeah, a .380 will probably just make someone mad. 😂😂😂 it’s cute though. Great video.
I look forward to the range trip.
@@Bolo2028 💪🏾 it’s coming!
I got my wife the Smith and Wesson EZ 2.0 and she love it. Might have her get this too instead of the Ruger LCP.

I held one of these recently at my local shop. I must admit it makes for a great pocket pistol for sure

Rent one before you buy one.......despite the glowing reviews......l own one, dont care for it. So try one before you buy. Range usa has them to rent.

@@wrora1 nope, Sunday but I had one for the ladies today!
Not red dot ready 😢😢😢
Learn how to shoot without the extras instead of depending on technology.
It’s too small. I don’t even think there is a red dot that would actually fit. You should know how to shoot with the gun itself anyway
@ don’t stand in front of it, they aren’t supposed to be large framed.
Just to have the option, would be nice
