A Weekend in Seattle with Dad! Seahawks, Cedarbrook Lodge, and more!

- The whole goal of this weekend was to make memories with my dad while sharing one of our shared passions, the Seattle Seahawks! This is my first season as a Seahawks season ticket holder and after a lifetime of memories made with my dad watching Seahawks games, I knew I had to bring him to the first game in my seats!
For this weekend we stayed at one of my favorite places near the SeaTac airport, the Cedarbrook Lodge. I mean, free ice cream 24/7? What's not to love?!
This weekend was a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I’m so happy ya’ll got to make these memories! Hubby & I were both kind of tearing up watching and then reminiscing about our core memories we’ve made with our Dads. Looked like a beautiful picture perfect day as well. Congrats on the win too 😉

We request wheelchair assistance every time we fly at every airline, including Alaskan. There are porters that work at the airport and for the most part are always great and we always bring cash to tip them. Glad you guys had a nice father son weekend. Congrats on your season tickets 🎉

I honestly think Alaska airlines is some of the best trained for mobility/disability aid. Glad you and your dad had such a great time at the game
I am so glad you got to make that memory with your Dad and thank you for giving us a snippet of your weekend. I know you said on a previous vlog that you were not even sure you wanted to vlog because you wanted to be present in the moment. Big football fan and it was a good game.
We just flew Alaskan to Seattle and home. the crew on the flight both to and from Seattle couldn't have been better! Love them. I agree on the memories!
Love this. My Uncle looks good! I have sweet memories of BSU games with my Dad. I miss going with him. Going last year felt super strange. So grateful that you guys are making super meaningful memories! Love ya cuz!

Being new to having to walk with a cain we have been so surprised by the care and compassion I have received when we went to T Mobil in July. Not to mention when we fly or board the ships. It's been great
That will be an awsome memory. I so wish I made memories like that with my dad when I could. I am in my mid/late 30s. For the last 5 to 10 years I wanted to travel with my dad somewhere but I never made it happen. There was always somthing going on. I have so much regret that I never made it happen. I am glad that you and other people make those memories happen. I hope everyone makes the most memories with family that they can. Have a great football watching season. Cincinnati Bengals fan here. Not a great start for us but I still love rooting for my home team.
We were in Seattle this weekend getting ready to board our Alaskan cruise and thought about you and your dad. Glad to hear what a wonderful time you had and really enjoy your videos.
So happy to know you and your Dad had a great rine together you are such a sweet guy I he'll remeber that forever many years ago when My husband and were living in Jacksonville Fla i missed my Parents so it was around Mother's and Fathers day we invited them for dinner to our favorite Seafood Restaurant we had a great time years later Mom said he still talked about that night 😊 great memories for us to we lost him years later in 2000 i have 2 sisters who live in Seattle they love it there we've been talking about visiting them eventually takce care hi Sherry Hope you are doing well looking firward to seeing your next video bye 😊👋
Congratulations on the season tickets our family had season tickets to the New England Patriots for many years and had great memories with my father and family. Good luck with the Sea Hawks this year except when they play my Patriots this weekend.

I am so glad to hear the last part of how you were treated. My husband has depth perception issues which keeps him from trying and me stadiums. So glad the Seahawks staff stepped up and that the Seahawks won.

This looks AWESOME! It’s great to see you and your dad hanging out. My husband often has mobility issues and it’s certainly different to travel with someone who has trouble moving about. One quick question- are you serious about giving one of your season tickets to a viewer? My son LOVES the Seahawks (even though we live in PA) and I’d love to be able to take him to a game. Thanks for considering!
Cedarbrook lodged looked so inviting, I am going to plan a late spring '25 trip there. Looks like they not only pick up at airport but also at Tukwilla train platform :). I have only ever been to the old king dome for a few Seattle games --- Zorn to Larget back then LOL You have a great seating with the standing area. So who smiled more Dad or You :)
Go Lions - with the one jersey you saw. 😀Also, fun fact - Kenneth Walker Jr. is from my very beloved Michigan State! Go green! I also like to see former Spartans do well in their pro careers. I'm admittedly a bigger college fan than pro fan - but I keep up with how the former Spartans do in the pros. I had to come in and edit because I wasn't finished watching when I posted. My brother has accessiblity needs and we. have taken him to a few sporting events where staff has been so accomodating. It is always wonderful to get so much help so he can continue to attend sporting events like he did before he needed a wheelchair. Glad you had a great experience.

Hi Adam. I was going to enquire whether you had assistance with your dad on this trip. Wonderful to hear as I recently traveled with an northern airline here in Canada. I also had an amazing experience with staff helping with my mobility concerns. Good people.
It’s look so small but so big too. You need some malteasers rather than malt balls.
