A lot of pro gamers have done videos like this. Drift0r and Day[9] come to mind. But you're an expert. Another thing those people have talked about is getting a really good chair to sit in. Drift0r suggested Herman Miller, which are really expensive chairs. Would love to hear your input on gaming chairs. What's worth it, what isn't, and what's the best?
Great video with great tips for healthy hands. I have been a PC gamer for almost my entire life (I started at 6 years old in 1989) and i never had any kind of handpain or backpain. (I am athletically build and enjoy working out besides gaming) Funny thing though ... I do most of the exercises you showed without ever having learned them, except the thumb opposition and the part of the wrist four way where you put your arm on the table. They somehow came naturally to me because they feel good. I have more of problem with my fingers when i practice guitar. My left hands fingers kinda cramp up. Is there something similar i could do to help with that issue? I played a lot of keyboard (the music instrument) when i was a kid but guitar chords are an entirely different beast.
Thankyou! The back of my mouse hand was in agony and after doing these stretches my hand feels a bit better. I just purchased a gaming PC and the mouse hand pain is intense! I might get a vertical mouse as they look more comfortable to handle.
Hey Franco, I'm a 61 year old gamer. I don't think I fit the typical "gamer" profile. I've been getting pain in my right thumb due to repetitive gaming use. These pre/post game stretches have really helped me out. Thank you so much for making this video. Cheers, Gary
Wow this helped me identify some limits in range of motion in my hands I didn’t know about. Maybe related to old boxing injuries. I’ll do these stretches daily! Thank you! Looking forward to more content!
Yup, I box but never did more than small amateur stuff as a kid. Was never injured in boxing but I did destroy my ankle in basketball when I was 16. I realized when I started working out around the time I was 20-21 that the mobility on the ankle was shit!!! Had to stretch so bad bro
I found this video on Reddit a few months ago and it’s made a huge difference in my life. I need to start doing it every day, but even doing it just when I have pain takes it away immediately. I’m an illustrator and a gamer so my wrist and thumb get a lot of use every single day, I can’t thank you enough for this video, it’s made a huge difference in my life and it’s the only way I can take away the pain when it flares up, seriously, thank you so much.

First off, thank you for your service. Secondly, those stretches are awesome. I have worked as an Electrician for over 40 years and I am also a gamer. Yes, that's right, people over 50, game. This is the first time I have had relief in months, thanks to your stretching techniques. Thank you so much! You have a subscriber for life!.
Loved these videos brother. I've been pc gaming all my life as well as lifting weights. After a long day the combination of the two takes a toll on my hands. Definitely going to work these into my post workout pre gaming routine. (Which currently includes gathering food and drinks now stretches)
thank you. I've been gaming for a week straight and my left wrist started getting a slight pain. I came across your stretches and tried them. it really works great.
Great video! These last couple days my fingers that I use during gaming on my pc have been hurting. After these stretches I can feel the pain has lessened, I’m going to do this everyday now and hope it help even more

Hey Franco I've got a recommendation for you: Head/Neck Stretching Excercises, especially for those of us who are wearing heavy gaming headsets while sitting on our computers.
Mike Booyakasha next week I’m putting out a video on shoulder stretches and the week after that is neck stretches! Stay tuned because it’s definitely on the way.
My forearms and fingers started to hurt all of a sudden and I was like "lemme go back to that one video about stretches" and welp, here I am. Thank you so much, now I remember why I subscribed in the first place.

Maybe you could do a short video for teachers to share with their students. Each day we do one of your exercises but I need to enter the timing in my Google Slide presentation. Then we spend a 30 seconds on each hand and review a few of the previous stretches. Throughout the day, we have stretch breaks. My students really enjoy learning from you.
Wow! I’m honored you’d use my content this way. I know I label things for gamers, but this information is useful for anybody. I label it for gamers because I’m looking to specifically address common problems that gamers have. That doesn’t mean they’re limited to gamers though. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but on my channel I’ve posted follow along videos of the stretches in each of my stretch videos. Maybe that would be more useful to use in your classes?

Thanks for this, working all day with mouse and keyboard at the office and then coming home and gaming some more I must admit I have wrist pains often. I feel this could really help.
Lovely video, great information and very well-produced! I’m new to PC gaming (built my first a few days ago), I’d love a video in the same style that addresses general left hand placement, common ways to build muscle memory (having a mad hard time not dying immediately in a skirmish because I can’t move quickly enough at all), and the logic behind some common key binding patterns. Excellent video, can’t wait to see more! Thanks!
thanks you so much I've been aim training alot lately and my middle finger to my hand was hurt so bad from tracking i stopped mid session to find a stretch
I know this is an old video, but with the recent severe carpal tunnel I've developed, instead of surgery they have me in a sling for a few weeks. The thumb stretches had me laughing because I've only got one thumb, so it took me to get down to my middle finger for me to reach the nub. Unfortunately for me, a lot of this started from overextending my pinky and ring finger on that hand, causing was began as a massive strain, and 4 months later turned into unbearable pain. Just the few stretches from here, and my left hand feels better than it did before the video. Gonna definitely bookmark this in hopes that doing this daily will help with my healing faster.
I developed RSI in both my hands from gaming; they've been pretty jacked up for a few months now. Hoping that I can get back to normal with rest, stretches and exercises. Thanks for the video!
Great video. I was playing Overwatch a few nights ago for around 4 straight hours and started feeling pain in my right shoulder. I also felt pain in my right thumb (likely due to my fingertip claw style of grip). I'm sure these tips will help alleviate and prevent this pain from happening in the future!

Thanks for sharing this stretches. I'm a technology coordinator, gamer and been playing flute for many years. I'm in pain (hands, forearms and neck) from what I assume is over use. The pain level is probably a 7 on a 10 scale (rather annoying pain). Who should I see to take a closer look at these issues? Can a Good PT addess these issues? Your stretches are helpfully. I've also been icing my risks and top and bottom of my thumb joins as this where most of the pain is. Thanks for all of what you do.
Thank you very much Fracno, its very painful to play League of Legends with pain, my middle finger bone is very hurt for me to tap, but this stretches helps me a lot, I really love this kind of video, not gonna lie this video is very useful, hopefully works on other people too.
Ya same my middle finger been hurting for a couple days now but it’s like the only thing hurting I seen everyone else say another part of their hand hurting ur the first person I saw that said the middle one was hurting
Thank You sir for this very informative video, I've tossed away PC gaming because I've experienced discomfort. I'm trying to get back to it, even discomfort back. I'm doing those stretches, flexibility, for the mouse hand is very important. They can all laugh all they want, I don't care, as we age we need to take care even more of our bodies. Prevention over Cure, Thanks again for these videos, I love them!
Love the video, I've been doing the finger and wrist ones for a while, but the prayer and forearm stuff is new to me... and I definitely need some work there it seems. This request might be a little niche, but if you could do a video on a pre-VR routine that would be amazing! I play a lot of beat saber and there have definitely been times where my wrists or elbows were sore in weird ways the next day (similar to tennis elbow I imagine).
Subbed! Your channel is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’d love to see a video for warmup and mid-session stretches for claw grip mouse users. I find that my forearm can tense up, which can drastically reduce my range of motion, which in turn causes my aim to suffer.
These stretches can help with those issues, but I do plan on making videos on strengthening and ergonomics which would be the other side to solving your issue. Thanks for the kind words and support!
i have been experiencing wrist pain from prolonged gaming ( I play fps and moba games like valorant and dota 2). Ill try these stretches out and see if this works for me

You want to seek out an Occupational Therapist. OTs treat everything from your elbow to your hands. Physical Therapists treat the rest of the body.
@@FracnoTV thank you.
Prevention over Cure, Thanks again for these videos, I love them!
enjoyed the content, subscribed, glad to be apart of your first 1000!
learned some new exercises!
did the routine and felt relief instantly.
thanks
Thankyou :) I did some other stretches before but they gave me pain. These make my arms feel well stretched and warm :)
Hell yea!
Seriously underrated channel
Love the video, I've been doing the finger and wrist ones for a while, but the prayer and forearm stuff is new to me... and I definitely need some work there it seems.
This request might be a little niche, but if you could do a video on a pre-VR routine that would be amazing! I play a lot of beat saber and there have definitely been times where my wrists or elbows were sore in weird ways the next day (similar to tennis elbow I imagine).
Thank you for this. Constantly looking for information on this. Started happening to me recently and I been gaming all my life
Man, this helps alot. Thanks! Will do this evertime, before i play.
omg thanks so much just did this and my wrist stopped hurting immediately
Thanks dude this really helped cuz I just started playing claw today
Ill try these stretches out and see if this works for me
Good luck!
really helpfull my dude thanks for the vid ,subbed for sure
Playing thousands of hours of monster hunter has killed my wrist. It hurt to do these stretches but I do feel some relief afterwards
I am so happy I found this! Thank you!!!
Good stuff, good quality video and informative!
Preciate that big dog, playing keyboard and mouse for hours gives my fingers pain so thanks for the video
Huge difference, can't remember the last time I didn't feel pain on my wrist, thanks!
I don’t usually have hand pain but ever since halo released I’ve been playing as much as I did a decade ago when I was 20 . Now my thumb and wrist keep reminding me that I’m not 20 anymore lol
Thank you man this really help
