- From 2010 I believe. I refound this in my old "liked videos" playlist on vimeo and wanted to make it more accessible on a platform I use more often. This was just a portion of their performance on that cruise.

Crazy -- they were half-way through the first part of it before it hit me they weren't doing it a capella! LOL
It amuses me greatly that geoff, earl, and layne look like they’re in their twenties and the other two look 40
Doing the math - if this was 2010, then they were 30 at the OLDEST. (Geoff and Earl were born in 1980, and Geoff has indicated that he's older than Layne). So that'd be pretty close.

LMAO wtf are you talking about? He absolutely had the really low bass back then. He's just not using it here for this song.
@@amypetty5013 Could be but he has got lower since. And his subs are much stronger and richer now.
@@christinestromberg4057 No, he actually has not gotten lower. I've listened to a lot of his 10+ year old videos. Those very low notes were always there.
You need to remember that he's literally been singing since middle school, and in a professional capacity since high school. The vast majority of the oldest videos with Geoff here are from just a few years before the Sing Off in 2013, when he was 33 and had been developing his voice for well over a decade. There are PLENTY of videos out there with him hitting the same ultra low bass notes in that period same as he does now.
@@amypetty5013 I won't argue with you but his subharmonics have definitely improved even in the last year.
@@christinestromberg4057 *shrug* It's not a question of argument. You're claiming he wasn't able to reach his really low bass notes during that time period, and that's just demonstrably untrue. I've got no comment on whether his subharmonics have improved within the space of just last year, although I suspect you don't know what you're talking about on that front either.
