So today I replaced the Draw cord with Elastic rope and a fastening to keep it clinched and dead easy to cinch up now. Keep up the amazing work mate.

I taped the Elastic rope to the existing drawcord and started pulling it through, unfortunately it came off halfway through, so just pulled out the existing drawcord and found it quite easy to feed the elastic rope through by feeding it through like a drawcord on a hoodie or tracksuit bottoms. I used about 7ft of elastic rope. I would love to get a zip put in though. @@outsidertank

nice to see another solo welsh camper, (... i find amusing we use lots of the same kit) Good tip on doing a recce of potential camping spots, I often use google earth and sometimes things look pretty different on the ground,
I always recce a new location, I'd rather know what could go wrong before rather than later. It also allows us to leave what kits not needed for said location and travel smart..thanks for the visit brother. What part you from ??

I prefer camping on my own as well. I haven't been for a while. I've been feeling down. I need to force myself to go for a nights camping then I will feel better.

Great camp 😊 I also use what 3 words. Handy for marking your location and I’ve used it to save locations I’ve found that would be suitable for a camp.
